  Sadly dissapointed

  This Hotel is actually located in the pot skirts of Entebbe and not In Kampala. It's a 5 minute drive to the lake and 20-60mins to town depending on the traffic. It's a sad experience when your hotel is not up to your expectations. The patroness was very polite and accommodating which attracted me to go to the hotel. I visited the Sanctum with the intention of spending 4 nights but I ended up driving out of the hotel without break fast the next day cause I just needed to get out!! The Hotel has an expanse of land that's built like a museum which is okay. At the time I visited the was a deserted sense to the residential area despite the obvious effort put into it. There is a pool with mostly Young families enjoying it with the kids splashing around. My room had a basic setting and a verander that had some privacy. The bed was decent enough but the major put off was the Sewage Stench! I was on the ground floor in a single room and all night I had to stuff my face to block out the strong Sewage Smell. Imagine they actually have a man hole in the corridor ( its desired but there)! My cousin commented on it before I checked in but I did not pay attention and its only as I left in the morning that I realised the stretch grew stronger as I dragged my case over the manhole. After tossing and turning all night it was a double Slap when I went to take a shower and the waster was cold! But that didn't deter me I high tailed it outta there without a thought for breakfast once I had paid my bill. All in all it was so dispiriting but also an experience to choke up to learning. "Always pay attention to the small details."

  Yummy dinner and nice bar

  I love the bar since it is not crowded lots of green and I think the setting is cool.The food is okay atleast our tastebuds were treated to a nice yummy dinner. Plus the bar is in its own location spaced from the apartments which is cool and peaceful.

  Laid back, fairly quiet, friendly and safe

  I stayed here for almost a week, and found it a congenial place! Friendly staff, clean rooms, close to the main road but not close enough to be noisy, with a good pool and good food, too. I was here for a meeting, and the meeting rooms (plus coffee/tea/snacks) were well-run, with the occasional internet break (but with generator backup). Great place to relax in the evening, after a swim. Conveniently situated for the airport and in between Entebbe and Kampala - but far enough from either to feel in a different world. Nice.

  Quality guarateed

  I stayed here for 2 days but will definitely come back another time. The rooms are very clean and have just everything i needed to have a comfortable stay. All staff from the receptionists to the waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The food served was delicious and beyond my expectations. I also loved the pool. It was easy for me to swim as I was the only one for the two days.

  Ecellent Service

  I firmly recommend anyone to Visit The Sanctum. The place is simply incredible. Amazing waiters and waitresses, great food, great rooms, great service in general. Great memories about the Place. It is accessible too
