  The best Sunday Lunch EVER..!!

  We booked to visit for Sunday lunch just as the reopened from lockdown Our first visit and it was perfect.. outstanding service.. lovely respectful distance and friendly team.. I had 2 courses my wife had 3 Lunch was outstanding.. !! The best Sunday lunch ever.. cooked perfectly.. we shared a mixed meat platter with perfectly cooked vegetables and as much gravy and sauces as you could want.. They simply got everything right..!! We will certainly be back again Wouldnt hesitate to recommend

  Lovely stay and great food!

  Stayed for one night, its a lovely pub with 12 rooms to the rear of the property, all accessed from the car parking area and on ground floor level. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable with a modern bathroom and lovely walk in shower. Our only niggle was that the room was advertised as having an extra large double bed and we had a king sized not a superking sized. It was also very hot in the room overnight even though we opened the windows, and the heavy duvet was too much. We ate in the restaurant and had a delicious meal with friendly and attentive staff who provided a great service even during the current Covid-19 restrictions. Breakfast was also tasty and plentiful. We would return if in the location again.

  Overnight stay.

  We had booked here for an overnight stay at the end of our holiday near Droitwich in a lovely barn cottage, as a treat. We were not disappointed! It was about halfway from holiday cottage to home, so perfect and glad we chose The Royal Oak as opposed to others we had looked at. We checked in about 4pm and were very warmly greeted by a lovely lady, Phoebe? Got the key to our room, 4, and were very impressed indeed with the style of the room. Clean, comfortable and well equipped, a lovely bathroom with nice toiletries. We had booked a table for diner about 7ish and again, very pleasant and friendly staff waiting on. The food was really stunning and flavoursome, my fish and chips were perfect and Hubby's steak was also perfect. Breakfast in the morning was really nice and the one and only really small gripe I had was the veggie sausage was one that had veggies in it! A wee bit Irish I know, but myself personally, do not really like these ones, much prefer the soya based ones... not mentioning any brands, but Paul Mcartney comes to mind!!! All-in-all, what a lovely end to our holiday and we would definitely stay and eat in The Royal Oak if ever we pass this way again.

  Friday Night Date Night

  Stayed at the Royal Oak with my husband for my 40th birthday treat. The Friday night date night is amazing value for money, and includes a bottle of Prosecco on arrival, 3 course dinner with a bottle of house wine, an overnight stay and breakfast, all for £150. With no spend limit on your dinner it essentially means the nights accommodation is almost free! We arrived just before 4pm, checked in and were straight the way impressed with the room. The food was amazing at both dinner and breakfast and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. If I had to have a criticism it would be that the room was really hot throughout the night. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we will definitely visit the Royal Oak again in the near future!

  Amazing staff

  The staff were faultless in terms of hospitality, cheerfulness and COVID-19 good practice.  Excellent level of cleanliness in the rooms and restaurant. Very good food both Saturday evening and Sunday lunch. Almost felt normal. Just lovely.
