  Fawlty Towers

  On my way home just now which has been the most enjoyable part of my visit to this run down guest house. Arrived Mon afternoon and wanted to leave by Monday night the room allocated was dingy and cramped with 3 beds in it worn carpet shabby bed covers bedroom door had a gap at the bottom and side of it which prevented us from sleeping had to put suitcases along the bottom to prevent the bright lights from hall shining through miss matched wallpaper cracks on walls and ceiling. Bathroom you couldn't move in no shelf for accessories. Food. Absolutely appalling cold undercooked or overcooked went from one to another tinned vegetables bland to say the least presentation we'll there wasn't any it was sloped on a plate worst Xmas dinner ever no atmosphere about the place wot so ever. Furniture in main reception area dated and filthy chairs stained carpet stained plus uneven surfaces everywhere. One member of staff lady named Tracey was the only one we ever seen smile and welcome people the rest couldn't care less. First and last time ever will be complaining to Blackpool Promitions for promoting this dump

  Christmas break

  Stayed here with my daughter and grandson for a 4 day xmas break. We had a lovely time. Food was good drinks not too expensive. We had a spacious family room. Staff were wonderful and friendly always going the extra mile. John the barman is especially good at carrying fruit :) would definitely return. The visit from Santa really was a nice touch for my 4 year old grandson and their were some lovely guests staying there too. A very enjoyable atmosphere!

  Great Value For Money

  Stayed at the weekend with a group of friends, visiting for a gig at The Tower Ballroom The staff were great & extremely helpful, rooms were basic but perfectly adequate Within walking distance of the Tower & nearby bars & restaurants

  location good standard through out hotel front entrance struggle to get by smokers fagg doubts ash all over the outside stairs decor in need of painting stair well carpets loose shower cabinets very small windows filthy breakfast tasted better attitude from some staff terrible no bar opened in bottom loung stairs in and out very dirty als guest wlking about no masks wornwont visit again

  exelent value for money

  have stayed at the alexandra several times and i am staying there again in may ;staff very friendly and helpfull .food first class and plenty .entertainment first class with two artists and two games of bingo .location good . i would recomend the alexandra for familiys and solo travellers.
