  Spectacular hotel and

  Had a chance to celebrate friend's birthday, as well as stay in the hotel before relocating from Almaty. Very professional team - F&B, Housekeeping, Chef's - the best customer focus I have seen! The birthday dinner was beyond any expectations, beautifully crafted and presented, and was one of the main highlights of the event. During the stay, the room was attentively equipped to the family size, and with attention to details. Bravo to the Ritz Carlton Almaty team!!!

  Jewel of the hotels in Almaty

  It is the best hotel in the city. Latest five star hotel. First of all, I would like to express the sincere gratitude to Mr. Can Goktas, General Manager and his team for the extended hospitality and unforgettable moments. I would also like to underline the charity activity of the hotel. On the Christmas tree, there are wishes of the children from the orphanages. The guests might choose the letter with the wishes and perform it. The hotel located in the new area, close to the Esentai Mall, a luxury shopping mall. There are many restaurants around and in 10 minutes distance by car. Rooms are spacious, very modern with the great view to the mountains. Great breakfasts. Nice spa and sauna. What is also important to add, they have very advanced system of the air purification that is the key factor in the time of the COVID.

  Amazing views great service

  We lived 2 years in Almaty and decided our last two night we would stay at the here. We are so happy we did. The whole experience was amazing. Our room and the views were stunning. The staff were fantastic and so attentive. Our breakfast was perfect. But a special mention to the ladies at reception who made our finally days in Almaty perfect. I highly recommend spending time at the Ritz and we hope we get a chance to visit again.

  Awful General Manager of the Ritz Carlton Almaty Hotel as for January 2021!

  January 2021's general manager of the hotel (i believe he is from Turkey) , but needs to be fired out of it immeadiately! He stopped us when we stepped out of the elevator, rudely asked where we were going and told us to leave the floor. After we changed the floors from 28 to 30th, he came back to us and then asked us to leave the hotel itself! Without any explanations as to why, he called the security guards immeadiately and tols us to leave. I guess there was something in our looks he didn't like, but that's just such a childish play. His behavior is so arrogant and starstruck. Okay we get it, he's got a genera manager position of the hotel, but that doesn't mean he can talk to people that way and forget about being polite and respect others... He didn't even say hi or hello, he didn't bother to be polite, just told us to leave with no explanation whatsoever. And when we wanted to know as to why and started conversation with him, he immeadiately interrupted it by calling the security guards to come and get us. Like, what the actual ****? Zero ratings, zero stars for him. He is the kind of staff worker that should be avoided or better, be fired. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay here, since he is in power - because he really is not the best person to ever interact, communicate with.

  Our favourite spot

  We love the place. The Ritz Carlton in Almaty delivers consistent high quality, staff is extremely friendly and proactive. Every time we visit we can see and feel the effort for continuous improvement.
