  Nice but poorly designed room; incompetent management

  We stayed here for a wedding and were anticipating a first class experience give. The high cost. Totally ordinary at best with amenities that someone who obviously had no hotel experience decided to add. Cutesy stuff. Management -or lack of -is the obvious issue. No mature manager in sight and everyone seemed to be college students doing 3 different jobs. In terminal waits. No car brought down despite 25 minutes notice then it was the wrong car. Preimier class prices but a Marriott Courtyatd a far better experience. Maybe one of their boutique@ hotels but never again here. Awful awful service and architecturally difficult to maneuver and stay in.

  Perfect!

  Beautiful hotel, great location and outstanding service! Cant say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! It was my moms 70th birthday and she loved every minute of our weekend! Highly recommend!!!!

  Pinnacle of Southern Hospitality

  I cannot say enough good things about The Restoration. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Every question or request we made was meet with a helpful, friendly answer that made our trip to Charleston that much better. One of our best trips ever mostly due to the hospitality of the staff.

  Pay the price, it's worth it!!!

  Highly recommend this hotel! We always stayed at different hotel when visiting Charleston, but needed more space for this trip given my daughter wanted to take two friends with her for her birthday. I wasn't thrilled with the cost upon initial booking but the experience and customer service definitely make it worth it. Upon arrival our room wasn't ready yet, but the gladly held our bags so we could begin our day and valeted our vehicle. The front desk staff was excellent with his assistance and updates of our room being ready. When we returned, the upgraded our room to the three bedroom residence suite which made my daughter feel extra special on her 10th birthday. The complimentary wine/cheese hour and breakfast basket are nice perks. But the complimentary golf cart service within a mile of the hotel is golden!!! Coffee bar and restaurant are amazing. Farm to table style restaurant with seasonal menu changes. Great western exposure on the 7th floor for amazing sunset views for dinner/happy hour experiences. Great location to walk to any shops/restaurants as well! IF I had to leave a negative, the air conditioning units in 321 are very noisy. Our whole party said they woke them up multiple times thru the night. Not sure anything can be done about this, but the suite was simply outstanding. The Restoration has made us new customers and will continue to stay here on our trips to Charleston. Thank you for Ben, Abbi, Alex, I think Laura? and can't remember Sunday bellhop name, but outstanding customer service experience top to bottom! Great job

  Just Wow!

  My husband and I wanted a sunny and warm place to stay for a few days that was also drivable from the DC area. The Restoration Hotel exceeded all expectations. The service, from front desk to valet, was amazing. The location, 1 block off the hubub of King Street, couldn't be better. For a nominal amount, we upgraded to a larger room, a suite, allowing my husband to do his Zoom calls as needed. The rooms were well furnished in a modern but truly comfortable way, which we appreciated. I believe even their standard rooms are suites and come with kitchenette, stocked fridge, coffee bar, drinks on the rooftop bar/restaurant for happy hour, and a beautiful basket of pastries, yogurt and fruit every morning, dropped at the door. In short, we didn't want to leave! We would never stay anywhere else when visiting Charleston.
