  City Hotel in the country

  This is a City Hotel located in Muswellbrook. Everything you expect in a large city hotel you will find here. Large king size very comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms, staff were excellent. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. Well worth stopping in Muswellbrook just to stay here. I liked that all the COVID protocols were sent prior to arrival so that it was all done at check in.

  Excellent

  Just passing through from Tamworth to Sydney . It was so nice to check in and be offered a bottle of iced water. The lady was really lovely. The room itself was large with a very comfortable bed. It was a very hot day, and the air conditioning was so welcome. Very good bathroom with lux toiletries. Breakfast was included, two courses which was more than I could eat. Travelling solo, I felt safe and spoilt.

  Holiday

  Stayed there while I was back at my home town visiting and it was nothing short of amazing. All the staff were friendly and made sure we had the best stay possible. We will always stay with The Remington even when I have families houses to stay at while in the town visiting!

  Homely yet elegant

  My fiance and I have been to the Remington twice to stay and both times have found it nothing short of excellent! we would truly recommend this wonderful Hotel to anyone travelling through the lovely town of Muswellbrook. The staff have vibrant and warm personalities and go the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and Cozy,and the showers are divine! The restaurant at the Remington is absolutely second-to-none with top quality food cooked to perfection. I know that when we come to Muswellbrook I can sleep soundly and wake up feeling extremely refreshed at the Remington.

  Unrivalled elegance, unbeatable service & unparalleled luxury. The Remington sets the standard for regional Australia.

  Its such a pleasure to walk in and be greeted by vibrant, engaging staff (Thankyou Jennifer) who are effervescent, full of sunshine and enjoy connection and your story. Smooth checkin, a local wine waiting in our icy cool room (they thought to care and turn the aircon on ahead of our arrival). Dinner was booked and what a fabulous meal it was in unexpected class and ambience for regional Australia. The Beef cheek was exceptional and perfectly paired with local winery Two Rivers Shiraz at the wait staffs recommendation. Meals were exceptional, presentation inspiring and staff seemed to grace our evening at all the right moments to top up wines, whisk dishes away and bring new grazing options so we enjoyed a steady rhythm of mirth, conversation, well timed service of food and beverage. It all made for a magical night by the candlelight and sultry digital fireplace. Back in the room I was just delighted with how pristine clean everything is. Great water pressure and a piping hot shower was just what the doctor ordered before sliding between luxurious supreme cotton sheets and the softest duvet. I sank into that bed in bliss looking out at the perfectly manicured hedges and dreamed the night away undisturbed. Sleep doesnt come easy to me so I value environments where I can find it. Silence, darkness, perfect temperature control, heavenly bedding. Sublime perfection. The Remington is an unexpected oasis of luxury in the heart of regional NSW. The colour scheme and decor are perfectly combined for simple elegance and understated class. Nothing was a bother, breakfast was incredibly busy but they handled it with decorum and grace. I particularly recommend the breakfast bruschetta and loved its perfectly balanced tang. This is a can do establishment who will challenge doubters and unbelievers hospitality still exists. I want to go back and just feel spoiled a bit more. Its one thing to pay for the best bed, meal and shower in town - its another thing to find the unexpected human experience. Theres pride here but not arrogance. The awards in the foyer foreshadow what you hope will be a good hotel experience only to be eclipsed by and give way to a memorable human experience. Wed stayed before. Reception met my husband with his favourite ice cool beer at the door and took our bags while we collapsed in the foyer lounge, refreshed and revived with beer and bubbles. Ive stayed in some fancy establishments that I couldnt wait to see the back of. This hotel has soul. Youre a simpleton and fool indeed to stay anywhere else in 150km radius any direction. Do yourself a favour. Choose Remington. Choose you.
