  Había leído opiniones en esta misma página antes de viajar y me convencieron. Pero fue todo un fracaso. Cuando viajamos no buscamos lujos pero sí un mínimo de calidad. Cuando llegamos el aspecto del hotel nada más entrar fue espantoso. Y cuando subimos para encontrar la habitación, tuvimos que recorrer todos los pasillos del hotel, que por cierto son horribles. No tiene ascensor con lo que tuvimos que subir las maletas, tres pisos largos con ellas a cuestas. La puerta de entrada a la habitación, era muy endeble, cualquiera podía entrar. Y la llave de la habitación era como la de los antiguos armarios, que parece que con la misma pudieras abrir todas las puertas. Lo único bueno que el baño era amplio y estaba limpio

  Ideal hotel situated in centre of Portrush

  On arrival we were greeted by a very nice and friendly receptionist. As we were booking in she noticed my wife had disabilities with her walking. We had been booked into a room on third floor. She moved us to second floor as hotel has no lift. We were happy with the move. Before we left to go to our room the lady handed us one plastic bag containing toiletries and another with tea/coffee etc. Our room was clean and tidy with large bathroom. The room contained everything for our stay. There was a nice table for two overlooking the Main Street so you could watch the world go by. Nice view from window sits in the bar, restaurant and breakfast area Which is light and airy. We found all staff so helpful and friendly in the hotel. I spoke to the housekeeper that we had difficulty getting the temperature right with the electric shower. She told me she would sort it out. I met her five minutes later and told me she had adjusted shower temperature. Everything was ok. As I have mentioned later this hotel has no lift and no parking on site. On booking the receptionist told us to park in Bath Terrace which is free parking. Just a short walk to hotel. We would stay here again.

  Impressed

  Booked for two night stay midweek. Staff very friendly room clean could be up dated. Breakfast amazing. Thin walls in room which can be noisy but overall an enjoyable stay. Would recommend and come back

  AVOID AVOID AVOID

  Visited for Sunday Carvery...AVOID We all had roast beef for dinner and my sister is dairy intolerant so we asked for no mash and all roast potatoes when it came she had two half roasties, when we complained they brought half a small bowl of frozen chips. We were told that all the roast potatoes were allocated to meals!!! Dessert was worse again, got cheesecake which had been defrosted in the microwave so first mouthful was warm and the second freezing!! Got jam and coconut sponge which had a hair in the middle. When we told the staff of our complaints they laughed at us!

  2 night stay

  Stayed here 11to13sept could not fault this lovely hotel. From the moment we were checked in by lovely lady offered choice of 2 rooms,bags taken to are room while we had drink and meal in bar.staff all so friendly. hotel spotless and amazing atmosphere in bar/restaurant, breakfast gorgeous.well done port hotel cant wait to return
