  Out for lunch

  myself and 4 friends had lunch at the plough,we were seated straight away and asked by the barman what drinks we would like,few moments later a man came to take our name and number.we ordered our food,we all had burgers.food was great but we waited a while for the food.

  The Plough for evening meal

  Lovely food, very filling and good quality. Would highly recommend. Booked in advance, face masks to be worn until seated. Most people adhering to the rules. Staff very attentive. Rural location very scenic

  Very accommodating pub

  We stopped here at lunchtime midweek and were able to park our motorhome easily in the car park. The landlord was very friendly, food was on offer and dogs were welcome. My partner wasn't all that hungry so we had their breakfast between us. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely return the next time we are in the area.

  "What a fantastic and safe pub"

  We booked in for an evening meal at The Plough on a recent stay in Sleights. It was the first time since lockdown that we had ventured into a pub, well what can I say it felt so safe and clean. The owners really have this sorted, when other customers left the table and chairs were all sprayed down to clean. The food was amazing the bar staff were amazing. Would highly recommend and to top it all which is important to us this pub welcomed our 17 year old dog with open arms, bringing him a drink and adding a photo of him to their instagram page. We were asked to wear face masks when not sat at the table, staff wore face masks and hand sanitiser available outside before entering the pub. We didn't stay here only had and evening meal.

  Fantastic food and friendly service

  Highly recommended. Great food. Good prices. Friendly owner and staff. And dog friendly! (even gave him a sausage, thank you!). Very cosy and warm place. Quality beer on draft too! Were doing a grand job on cleaning/covid secure stuff too
