  I'm sure there are better places

  We only stayed for a couple of nights, that was enough. It's difficult to find the place, especially at night. There are basically no signs and the GPS kept sending us to a location maybe half a mile away. There are only a few rooms and they are all around the pool, so small courtyard. The staff is cordial, attentive and professional. It's not very well equipped. We had no hot water in the shower the first day, but it was fixed by next day. There are no electric plugs in the barroom, so be prepared to do your hair in front of the microwave. Also, if you need a hairdryer, you may want to request it way ahead of time because there are non available on site. With luck it will take half a day for them to bring you one. Breakfast is very simple, but it works. Pool is not heated, so at least in March is a total no go.

  Very, very average stay

  I had been recommended the place and had previously eaten at Ramblers so was ex-eating a good experience. The checkin was okay, rooms okay, reasonable size. We had electricity and WiFi challenges, which the generator helped allot but made connecting and squaring work tough. Big plus to eat at Ramblers and not drive, good menu, friendly people and good atmosphere. Breakfast at the place a challenge, only start serving at 07h15, does not work if you need to be in the office at 08h00, staff not very friendly and varietary limited. You are left to figure out how coffee equipment works and we were not succesful. A disappointing experience and we ate cereal and then moved on for a late branch after first meetings at 08h00. Not sure if I will return, not my best stay in Eswatini

  Pleasant, quiet place

  I stayed at The Place for work. It's very quiet, which makes for a good working environment. I arrived on a Sunday and there was no one around, but I think most of Mbabane is shut down on Sundays. Was a little tricky to find lunch and dinner with nothing open and no one around to ask for recommendations. But the rooms are nice--the small kitchenette is great. Very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. The golf course is just across the way, and there's a gym a couple of kilometers away--easily walkable or jog-able. The gym offers a weekly rate for travelers. The service was great when I could find someone to ask for what I needed. Like I said, it was just tricky on the day I arrived.

  Excellent

  We enjoyed our stay, we booked in as family and we had a wonderful time, unfortunately we couldn't use the swimming pool, as it was raining, service was brilliant, very neat place indeed. We will definitely book in again.

  Convenient self-catering accommodation in Mbabane

  The Place is a pleasant option as the rooms are separate and arranged around a pool. It is quiet, and Ramblas restaurant on the same property offers a wide range of meals all times of the day. There is a large selection of DSTV channels, as well as wifi available.The cost has been kept reasonable.
