  Return of the Pink Mansion!

  Ok so pink's not my favorite color. But this place has it all. Great breakfast! Close to town! Beautifully furnished. Attentive hostess. Wine/cheese at 5. Pool/hot tub. I could really get used to living like this. If you're looking for a nice quite romantic beautiful place. This is it. I even starting liking the pink after the first day.

  Romantic and splendid

  To celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary I tried my hardest to find a place that was extremely romantic. The Pink Mansion completely delivered. It's a wonderful historic mansion that has been wonderfully updated enough to suit all of our needs. We stayed in the Presidential suite I think and everything was spectacular. It was pricey, but everything I looked at was as well. It was worth every penny. I highly recommend the place if this description suits your needs and wants.

  Love Love Love!!! We will be back as soon as we can :-)

  We stayed for just one night and had the whole house to ourselves!!! Towards the end of our roadtrip around the whole of California this was probably the #1 hotel/expereince i was looking forward to, staying in an Amercian Victorian Gothic Mansion ala Practical Magic and all those other amazing witchy films - and on Halloween no less!! I was not disappointed (and my husband didnt grumble too much either!). On arrival the key was taped to the front door in an envelop which I thought was so quaint and indicative that the owners were trusting and the area was safe which was nice. We were put into Room #1 on the ground floor as i had explained my husband was tall (6ft4") and so the owner has given us this room which was very considerate. Wow! the room was beautiful (as were all the rooms when i went for a wander upstairs with the blessing of the owner) - it's deceptively spacious and very very well furnished. Good plumbing (I did wonder with an old house whether this would be an issue). Wine/cheese at 5pm (very civilized) and a suprising/amazing breakfast, starting with poached pears and followed by breakfast fritata (so decadent). In a nutshell, i've been trying to figure out how to get a return trip asap since we have landed back in Old Blighty (trying to convince my Husband and friends that every birthday, anniversary, hen party or special occasion should be a visit to Calistoga and the Pink Mansion). I'd love to book the whole house for a family event. The only slight drawback was the slightly worn look from the outside which gave me misgivings but as soon as I stepped through the door I was nothing but impressed. A big thank you for such a pleasant stay!

  A true gem

  We spent 4 nights at the Pink Mansion. Located just blocks from the Main Street of Calistoga. The rooms are very large, very clean, and comfortable. The interior throughout is a chic-antique feel. Our room was very large, with a sunken living room and fireplace. We had a private patio overlooking the beautiful garden. A wonderful place to enjoy a bottle of wine after a day in the valley. The property includes a very large hot tub, and indoor pool. Also very relaxing after a long day traversing wine country. One of the best values for the stay (among the many) is the gourmet breakfast that is included each morning. Prepared fresh every morning at 9 AM by the owner Mr. Toppa. Each morning we were greeted with gourmet coffees, juices, fruits, fresh made-pastries, and a different breakfast delicacy. It is the most important meal of the day, and it is also likely going to be one of your best. We are so pleased that we stumbled across The Pink Mansion. It will certainly be our choice of accommodations, with each return trip to Napa Valley.

  Convenient to downtown Calistoga

  Its a lovely property despite the overgrown brush welcoming you for your stay. My husband and I had a lovely 2 night stay in the Wine Suite. Our room was spacious with a lovely adjoining master bath. Breakfast is served at 9 AM and gets you off to a great start for your travels through wine country. Its within walking distance of downtown Calistoga.
