  Nice hotel

  Planned this hotel as it was central to all the parks for us to visit arrived Sunday night to amazing staff they can not do enough for you so we went for evening meal my daughter had beef sandwich her friend had a kids meal and I had beef burger and chips which was below average for the price you pay came to 45 pounds . The room was very dated and the bathroom had broken tiles and the air con did not work very well the hotel room was very clean and was cleaned every day and the cleaning staff were very polite and the beds were really comfy for the price I paid I could of got a better hotel so thats one of the reasons for the 3 star review I would rate this as a 3 star hotel and if you do book make sure you get breakfast included in price as this is 15 pounds per person but it was amazing breakfast and kept us going all day

  Gourmet Dining Experience

  We chose the Pinewood Hotel as our venue to use our Buyagift Gourmet Dining Experience (a retirement present from my work colleagues) as nearly all of the other venues in the hand book would not accept the voucher. When enquiring if the hotel would take the voucher the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful answering all my questions and said they would be more than happy to accept the voucher. There was plenty of parking and we managed to get a space close to the hotel entrance. We were greeted with a lovely smile from the receptionist who directed us to the brasserie and bar. We were shown to our table and was asked if we would like some drinks whilst we looked at the menu. The table was clean and all aspects of Covid 19 safety were present. We both decided on what we wanted to eat and which wine to have with dinner so gave our order to our waiter Omar, who was very pleasant and helpful throughout the evening. We were served our drinks and starters of nuts and olives (which was perfect as we weren't full prior to our main meal). We both went for the rib eye steak which was cooked to perfection by Maria the chef.It was so good I forgot to get a photograph of it!! We were given a choice of red wines and went with the merlot. We were not disappointed as it was lovely and smooth (one we hadn't heard of, but made a note of the make so that we could buy a bottle some time) The desserts of Eton Mess and cheese and biscuits were another thumbs up. Our overview on the whole dining experience was 10 out of 10. We will definitely return and recommend this hotel.

  Lovely bed awful breakfast

  Stayed October 2nd, best thing about this place is the huge comfortable beds, water in the room was forgotten but quickly rectified when calling the hotel front desk, however I had to do this on my mobile as no phone in room, paid extra for upgraded room with robes which is always lovely! My only advise would be not to pay extra for breakfast it was awful, undercooked eggs and bacon no toast although asked 3 times , was only us and one other couple in the breakfast room and as sweet as the waiter was he didn't know whether he was coming or going, we left hungry

  Great

  Excellent even during Covid Even due to Covid restrictions the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. I can't recommend them enough Everything was great from room, to value for money, care of staff etc. it was excellent Great, comfortable and clean. Spacious room, clean and located in the forest.

  Highly recommend! Great hotel, great value! Great hospitality especially from Mark, despite difficult circumstances. Felt very safe as great and very visible Covid-19 precautions in place. Very small team, all going the extra mile to meet guest needs. Exceeded expectations on every level I will definitely stay again.
