  AWFUL!! AVOID!!

  I don't usually leave bad reviews but this Pub/Hotel is awful and i wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy! The room I stayed in was very basic and very unhygienic with cob webs and dirt everywhere very very tatty. The noise coming from outside was horrendous and the staff there are very inconsiderate and rude when talking to their customers. There is no one on the hotel reception either so had to walk through a 18th Party with my suitcase which caused a lot of hassle. Then trying to get to the bar to speak to someone about my stay was more hassle with all the youngsters. There defiantly looked like there was underage drinking going on to! The lady with red hair that i spoke to was so rude and unprofessional and had a face on her like a slapped ass which instantly made me feel unwelcome.

  Overnight stay

  Single room small and very dark due to being under large tree. Need some LED bulbs. Mattress awful. Bed linen nice and clean and crisp. Very noisy hotel. Stayed midweek and didnt get to sleep until about 2am - felt like there was a nightclub underneath but it may well have been neighbouring properties. Also pigeons/rodents scratching away on flat roof of my room at 5.30am. Doors banging from before 6am with majority customers being workmen getting up early. Very dirty reception area and pub. Very good breakfast with good quality sausages and bacon and very good coffee. Careful with booking via an agent where you give bank details (but pay at hotel) as hotel will take payment without you knowing and when you check out the following day you pay again - very tedious problem obtaining a refund as staff either too busy to care or cant be bothered - not to be recommended even for one night and certainly not for families.

  Awful

  We had reservations and called to say that we were delayed. They said "not a problem". When we arrived the door was locked with two phone numbers on the door. We called and no one ever picked up. We had to call a new cab and find a hotel room somewhere else with our two kids.

  Family get together spoilt

  Recently attended a function here, the staff in general were very nice and friendly with one exception, who may need to update her interpersonal skills URGENTLY, made customers feel like an inconvenience. Bar staff were inept, customers waiting ages for orders to be completed. Meals running late. The premises needs urgent refurbishment, carpets dirty and not up to standard. Kitchen needs attention also, although the food itself was delicious when eventually served. Premises convenient to airport. Would I stay or visit here again? No way on both counts.

  Average.

  Outdated/ room was freezing cold!! Ok for one night!! I wouldnt stay stay longer!!! Work away a lot so i get to stay in loads of places like this! Seems like the owners ow many of these places are happy taking your money but dont renovate very often.
