  Hotel normal con mal servicio

  Cuando llegas al hotel tienes la impresión de estar en un complejo vacacional de alto standing pero nada más lejos de la realidad. Se trata de un hotel medio, habitaciones normalitas, mi habitación en concreto tenía un cristal exterior resquebrajado. Solo llegar a la habitación me encontré con un aspirador delante de mi puerta, tuve que apartarlo para poder entrar. Se quedó allí hasta el día siguiente. El desayuno se paga a parte y tambien es normalito con café horrible. Pedí un café con leche y después 2 horas reclamé que no me lo habían traído y pedí que me devolvieran el dinero. El hotel se encuentra a media hora andando (me dijeron 10 min) del centro de Ashbourne.

  Excellent service friendly staff

  Have to say pillo hotel is one of the best hotels to stay in Ireland have stayed several times and never a problem fabulous spotless clean rooms breakfast is top class very good value for money and lovely swimming pool cant fault one thing about my stay thanks to all staff from noeleen benny and Tyler

  Our wedding

  Stunning hotel, staff were amazing especially Richard he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy on the day. He was amazing with the guests and made sure everything went smoothly on the day. Also franscessca, was brilliant helping me with the planning for the day. Thanks again guys. We highly recommend

  Due to stay 11th -14th August 2020

  My daughters wedding Planned 11-14 August. The Hotel is still taking bookings now even though they are closed for renovations! We still havent been notified it is closed! We found out our booking was cancelled by accident on Facebook! Very poor customer service! Were we to turn up at the hotel to be turned away by the works foreman on the day of our stay?? The hotel still havent told Ourselves or booking.com that the hotel will be closed as my booking still shows as confirmed on booking.com!! It costs nothing to have manners and inform guests of the renovations so they can find alternative accommodation! It would have been nice also to be offered an alternative suggestion of somewhere to stay but we have still received nothing!! Our family have been frequent guests to this hotel but this has now 100% put our family off staying in this ever again! A disgusted former customer!

  We were asked to cancel our wedding a month before our date

  Original wedding date was May 30th 2020, due to COVID 19 we had to change it to Aug 28 and the wedding coordinator was fine with that. We moved most of our vendors to the new date looked like things were going smoothly when exactly a month before our wedding date Pillo hotel sent us an EMAIL informing us they cannot host our wedding anymore due to 'RENOVATIONS'. The panic that ensued after we read this email cannot be described in words. They should have told us months ago when were changing our original wedding date that they could not host our wedding anymore. We changed it to Aug 28th only because that was the availability Pillo hotel had. How can we find another venue in our preferred location that has availability on the same date only a month before? we had a zoom chat with the coordinator after we received the fateful email, she told us their sister hotel in Kildare had 'graciously' agreed to host our wedding at the same price. First of all, If we wanted a wedding in Kildare we would have booked it in Kildare. We had also stayed at this sister hotel a couple of times and the experience was horrible. They were not professional in dealing with us. They had zero concern and I would never recommend this hotel or their sister hotel to anyone.
