  Fantastic location and great service

  We came for a one night stay due to a (local)family funeral. We couldnt have chosen a better place - spacious, modern and spotless room and en-suite. Staff were all excellent and doing a great job in making everyone feel safe but still well-served in these Covid times. My late step-father loved Charlestown, as we do, so a fitting place for us to stay. Thanks for arranging the rainbow for him! (View from our window).

  Most amazing roast dinner !

  My family and I went for sunday lunch it was delicious I had Turkey and the rest of the table had beef with lovely roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding there was sharing dishes of cabbage, carrots, Swede, and the most fantastic cauliflower cheese We cant wait to go back

  Amazing Views

  Turns out going to cornwall in December is not such a crazy idea. We only stayed in the Pier House for one night but wish we had done more. The room was great with a really large comfortable bed, it was also quite nice how the bathroom was separate to the bedroom area as there was a stair case in the room. We are dinner and breakfast here. Both were very tasty (recommend the burger with added pulled pork). The staff were also great, when one of the waiting staff found out we liked rum he was able to recommend a rum bar over the harbour. The best thing about this hotel is the location and amazing sea views, would recommend upgrading to wake up and be able to see the sea from bed. The restaurant downstairs was also kitted out with lights everywhere and real Christmas trees

  Fantastic Escape

  If you're looking for a superb hotel experience you can do no better than the Pier House. The seaside and harbour views were absolutely stunning, both in the evening and to wake up to. The room was well furnished, clean and comfortable and the staff were all friendly and helpful. If there is a downside to this accommodation it is only that staying anywhere else will now seem more than a little underwhelming! Especial thanks go to the waiter who overheard us talking about rum and went the extra mile to recommend a rum and a nearby bar specialising in just that. Book this hotel, you will not regret it.

  Christmas 2020

  All the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean, and well - equipped. The location was convenient and had great views of the sea and harbour. The breakfasts were delicious and the Christmas lunch was of very high quality. Easy booking and great for our dog.
