    Seaview issue

    Having booked a sea view room, on arrival we were allocated a room on the 3rd floor and my wife was only able to get a sea view by standing on tiptoe over the window sill. Bit of a con for the price and not what we expected. Told on arrival no option to change to another sea view room. If you want a sea view don't get a 3rd floor room. Staff were friendly and pleasant. When mentioned on checkout, there was no offer of a reduction in bill or proper apology. Breakfast was nice but orange juice in a child's carton. disappointing. Overall would recommend hotel but with clarification before arrival. Staff at Breakfast very helpful

    Great Location

    My friends and I stayed here for a weekend in September. The location was perfect - right across from The Pier and a short stroll into the centre of town. I did have a slight issue when I checked in to my room where the bathroom had not been cleaned properly but Catherine managed to find me another room immediately even though the hotel was full. The bed was really comfortable and the shower pressure perfect to ease my aching muscles after a day walking part of the South Downs Way. For info - you can purchase a daily parking pass for the local area from reception which lasts until 11am the next day so pick one up as soon as you get there. I want to thank Catherine who was really helpful providing info and helping us while we were there - great staff really do make a difference!

    Great autumn visit return

    Excellent room ,wonderful staff. We been coming to this hotel for 2 years and each time me and my partner have a wonderful time and experience . Loved going to bar highly recommend to go for a staycation. Looking forward returning again.

    Good value for money

    Lovely friendly staff nice bar below the hotel nice full English breakfast included in the price only a 3/4 minute walk to the town centre we would highly recommend this hotel to stay at good value for the money we paid.
