Friendly WeymouthFrom the cheerful welcome to the helpful checking out and parking arrangements interspersed with excellent cooked breakfasts nothing was too much trouble for Karen. Comfortable bed, clean room and en suite and a well-organised establishment for Covid we would recommend The Pebbles. Its location was ideal for our walking weekend.

Too priceyA nice quiet place but its not worth its price. I wouldnt price it £75 per night. Maximum £50. A super small room( they tried to fit 4 rooms on the second floor (a bit greedy isnt it), considering its being an annex; and therefore audibility was high so I had to be quiet in order to not disturb the next room and every time I accidentally slammed the door or the electric kettle was yellow inside (not sure if it was a scale or somebody boiled soup there), it was unpleasant to have a cuppa with water from the kettle. By the way I didnt like the taste of the tap water so we had to buy it from the shop. The furniture was dated. We stayed there for 3 nights and it didnt get cleaned a single day. We run out of the coffee/tea/milk and the rubbish bins, so we had to take one bag with rubbish to our car boot and throw it at home. Other than that the room was quite clean I must admit. Breakfast area was clean and the breakfast itself was nice but average. I am not sure about people talking about some exceptional breakfast there, personally I didnt have it. It was one sausage, one egg, a bacon, mushrooms, beans and bread. And tea/coffee/orange juice. I expected to be something like croissants with tea but there was nothing. So I honestly cant call the breakfast exceptional. We decided to call it with my husband exceptionally average. The car park was too tight. You might block another cars when parking and then the keeper calls you and asks to move your car when you are miles away from there enjoying the stroll and have to hurry to the hotel). Again G for greediness! The keeper has 3 dogs and they poo in the garden so when you move from rear parking to the house through garden - be aware of mines! I think this is all I wanted to say. You can stay there but not for £75 per night.

Excellent stayVery convenient and comfortable stay in a spotlessly clean accommodation, with lovely seaside themed bedding and decor. Different rooms available varying in size and costs, but the one we stayed in ( our choice) on the second floor, was a little compact but manageable even for seven nights, was very good value for money with great breakfast. Good shower in lovely bathroom, small but manageable. Lots of hand sanitizer available for guests to use on every level of the establishment and upon entering the reception area with covid information advice and track and trace QR for guests use. Face mask policy and health and safety information clearly displayed and adhered to. Very reassuring to see an establishment who understand and comply with the NHS Government advice and are able to provide a safe and comfortable stay for guests. A superb breakfast was still able to be provided by a cheerful and helpful lady host, while still complying with social distancing by staggering the times available and opportunities for guests to choose early or later breakfast slots depending on availability. Parking was available, with some car juggling as limited, which was not a problem for us. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
