  A Memorable Wedding Anniversary @The Pearl

  My wife and I decided to take a trip away for our 31st Wedding Anniversary, and due to past good experiences with their manager Lawrence, we decided to choose The Pearl Hotel in KL. The person handling our reservation, Zai was tremendously helpful, besides taking care of the booking, we also helped me organize a celebration cake for the evening with his kitchen. The outcome was unexpected good... we had a dinner with freshly shucked, succulent oysters with Wagyu beef thrown in and the hotel Executive Lounge. Special mention to Hazel and Aina - my wife is very touched by their attentive service and arrangements during our celebration! Thanks to Lawrence and team for making this a memorable occasion for us. We couldn't be more satisfied with the 5-star treatment at this hotel, and will certainly make this the place-to-stay for our future KL trips.

  We recently had a conference for more than 100 people in this hotel and we had very good service provided by the hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The security they have provided is of a very high standard. We had a delegate who brought along his mentally challenged son and he wandered off. The hotel management under the care of Lawrence Khoh and the person in charge of security immediately went into action and resolve the situation. All the delegates find that it was a very pleasant stay in the hotel.

  Average Hotel Stay

  First time Im staying at this hotel and first impression it is alright not that great. Check it at the hotel lobby is not available and I was directed to the executive lounge floor to check in. The place is not that big and only one staff working there. There are already quite a lot of people waiting to check in. Luckily I was there early because later on in the evening people were sitting out in the hallway waiting to check in. Room is quite spacious but I find that there is not enough lighting. I would prefer it to be brighter. Certain parts Of the room is a bit dark cos there is no light there. Its the same also in the bathroom. One part is rather dark especially the shower area because there is no light on TOP. When you pull the shower curtain over it is dark. For me I always like a room that have sufficient lighting. One tips though if you are going to stay at this hotel. Ask for a room that is facing the back and not the highway in front. The sound proofing is really poor and even when the windows are close and Im at level 12 I can still hear the sound of vehicles on the road so clearly. At night when it is not so noisy, every car or motorbike driving pass you can hear it. Overall for the price I would say it is an average hotel. Location is good and when you walk down you can find lots of places to eat. But there are no public transport nearby. So you will have to drive if you are planning to stay at this hotel.

  Afternoon tea buffet 3pm

  Limited choices of food. Should serve original cheesecakes. Desserts and sandwiches not up to international standards. Rice and noddles very dry. Please upgrade your F and B standards. Sandwiches prepared too simple. Customers don't mind paying more for a international standards afternoon tea buffet.

  Greatest Hospitality Ever Experienced

  The hotel was highly recommended to me by my collegue who attended a workshop in this hotel. And guess what!! We had several functions since then in this hotel. Congratulations to Mr Yusri and his dedicated team for endless technical support and delicious food. Futhermore, it has pink parking for ladies and well guarded.
