Chilled out resort, yoga can be varied levels of engagementStayed three nights on a wellness package that includes one daily group yoga class and two private classes for couples. Found Neil, one of the four yoga teachers to be exp riemced and able to keep things interesting for newbies and those that have completed their teacher training. Surroundings were amazing as semi outdoors and you cant rely on mirrors and walls for balancing aid. Food was good, and we have a choice from 6 set meals varying from standard Thai to western and to raw/ detox options. We met people who did the full juice fast and light exercise and a group with boot camp cardio that includes mua Thai. Rooms were excellent with good pressure of hot water and toiletries. Prices oka on a deal otherwise meals can set you back quite a bit. Their spa is also well kept and clean, we had two inclusive massages there. A shuttle to Chiangmai town runs everyday at set times but have to pay for each trip and the journey is one hour each way, so definitely a resort to get away from city life. Strong WiFi throughout with easy connections

The hotel is basic but the Meditation and Yoga were fantastic. The hotel environment is nice. But the room is basic. However, the Meditation instructor Frac and Yoga instructor Susie were both fantastic. Fracs approach is simple and easy for those who is trying out. Susie corrected my pose with precise instruction. Best lesson I had. And the environment where the lessons took place was just breathe taking. It is worth considering the place just for the meditation and yoga.

Things ChangeI previously had a delightful healthful experience at this place. However, recently the prices for a one-day detox program had increased about 200% so I have been disillusioned and will no longer recommend it to my friends. The environment, the programs, the restaurant and the organic farm are all very nice. However, the previous owners seemed more dedicated to service; this administration seems only interested in economics, despite the lovely veneer. It takes a team with a vision to make a difference. I won't be looking for inspiration here any more, unfortunately.

They ripped us off! They are insanely over priced! The place used to be good, however due to lack of maintenance, now its a dump. The restaurant is the only place where you can eat when you are in the middle of nowhere. I guess thats why the food is priced even much higher than the best restaurants in town! Dont go!

Haven of tranquility in picturesque surroundingsThe Pavana is set in a beautiful location on a hillside near rice paddies and picturesque villages. We were well looked after by the staff who remained in good spirits despite the sharp drop in tourist arrivals because of the coronavirus crisis. All services were maintained and the food was delicious! We particularly enjoyed the Bamboo Spa and the swimming pool, as well as exercising in the Cloud 9 Sala. We took part in the Fresh Start Boot Camp offered by the resort which was exhausting and thorough and very rewarding. Thank you! (Unfortunately, because we were there in late March, there was some air pollution due to farmers burning fields in Myanmar. But the Pavana did all they could by providing air purifiers.) Overall, we had a fantastic time and would definitely visit again.
