  Excellent service & lovely hotel.. Cream tea is a must !!

  My partner and I paid a visit to the hotel for lunch.. We were met at the entrance of the hotel by a pleasant member of staff who showed us to a table. You could tell the staff had worked really hard to ensure all COVID restrictions were met, but that they did not impact the visit. Everything ran like clockwork. Our order was taken and food came really quickly, and it was delicious! Fish & chips for my father which he said was the best hes ever had (homemade chips!) and the cream tea was fantastic! Everytime I visit this hotel the service from the staff is brilliant, the hotel is spotless and the manageress Kerry is always present ensuring all areas are running to perfection. Thank you to the Parkway team for always ensuring your guests feel welcomed. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to catch up with friends for coffee, have a delicious lunch with family, relax in the spa or have a great overnight stay!

  Great option for East Wales stay over

  We booked here after being let down by the celtic manor. All i can say is i am glad the celtic manor let us down. There were alot of positives staying here: - ample FREE parking, all within a short distance of the main reception - easy access from motorway - great spa facilities (with no pre-booking required) - decent gym (again no pre-booking required) - personal touch by staff - quiet room and comfy bed - large bathroom with both shower and bath - package included sloe gin and Champaign in room On a separate note to the above, despite the restaurant not being open and only doing their 'bar and lounge' menu, the food was fabulous. Would definitely visit again.

  Visit today for Sunday lunch.(15th Nov)

  We visited today to use vouchers that we received for a birthday earlier this year. The Parkway is a favourite venue for all occasions and Sunday lunch did not disappoint. The meal was excellent and care was taken to ensure safety of the guests and staff. We received prompt and efficient service by Molly and Nicole who were friendly and helpful. Were looking forward to a return visit soon.

  a night away following lockdown

  stayed at the parkway for a night as a treat for my partners birthday. as it was a special occasion we booked one of the top suites. we stayed in the manorbier suite. the room itself could not be faulted, lovely lounge, bathroom and bedroom. the balcony was great (apart from the weather). the only downside sides were, the room wasn't ready until around 3.30. if you pay a lot for a room its nice to get in as soon as poss. the second point was, one of the ladies serving in the lounge, we had lunch while waiting for the room, could not understand that her visor needed to cover her face not act as a rain visor. we did mention it to a manager, it was pulled down but was back up later. apart for the comments above it was a really good stay with a lovely breakfast on Sunday morning.

  Relaxing spa visit & lovely hotel

  A friend and I visited The Parkway spa recently which was a lovely, much needed experience of relaxation following a hectic few months. Cannot recommend it enough here if you want somewhere relaxing, accommodating and great value! The staff are just wonderful, the spa is a great place to come & feel pampered and leave feeling refreshed. The pool was warm, towels & robes provided and all Covid guidelines had really been thought about well and put into practice. Ill definitely be returning again soon! x
