    Awful customer service

    We didn't stay as booking.com website said a 11pm check in was OK, I called them immediately to confirm and was told that they won't be up to 11. I asked for a refund and was told to call back. I called booking. Com and they confirmed that I had done everything correctly and seeing as I had cancelled within 3 minutes of the booking and the hotel had not even received the booking yet, that I should get a refund. 15 calls and 1 month later and still no refund! Keep getting told to call back. Ridiculous customer service. If you read this Olive Mill.. I still want the refund!

    Nice views . Not much else.

    Had a balcony room at the back of the hotel. Nice views down the valley, across the fields. Smallish room with good-size ensuite. The room and ensuite were clean but we were supplied with two stained towels. The hotel advertises its food but none was available, either for breakfast or dinner, something that guests booking a Monday or Tuesday should be informed about at time of booking. Good wifi. Not a place I'd stay again.

    We had a lovely meal there tonight. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was great. Looking forward to going back soon. Nice atmosphere, everything very clean and tidy. Looking forward to going there in the summer to take advantage of the fabulous views.

    Sunday Lunch

    5 of our family visited The Olive Mill for Sunday lunch today, the sun was out, the views from dining room across the moors were amazing,only surpassed by the quality of the Carvery. Best Sunday lunch within area in my opinion.

    called for lunch on the 29th Dec on the road to some friends ..... quick efficient service good food .. friendly staff and nice decor excellent cavery with good seletion of meats and veg .. thank you.
