    Anniversary weekend

    We wanted a long lazy weekend with good food and good atmosphere, the old ship aground ticked all of the boxes. We stayed in room 12 which was lovely clean,warm and harbour view.Staff were attentive and helpful great weekend definitely book again

    Always a Memorable Stay

    -A very friendly, comfortable atmosphere yet very professional service throughout. -The picturesque location enhances the relaxing atmosphere. -The preventive measures taken to deal with the present situation leave one feeling very safe but do not intrude on one's overall enjoyment. It is quite obvious that considerable thought has gone into the planning. -Nothing is too much trouble for the ever present owner and his charming crew.

    Found this gen on our last day of our stay in Minehead. Lovely choice if food, great atmosphere and attentive staff. If we'd discovered it sooner would if spent more time here, may also look at staying here.

    A Fabulous short stay.

    We wanted a few days away to get some sea air and just relax and eat good food. The Old Ship Aground was perfect for us. Situated in the harbour we had a large king room which was very comfortable with everything we needed. Covid measures were excellent and we felt safe and comfortable the whole stay. We ate in the restaurant on 2 nights and the food was really good with a good choice to suit anyone. The staff were very attentive and worked hard. Breakfast was also very good and great value as it was included with the price. We spent the time exploring the area, I think a car is needed. A visit to Dunster is a must. All in all a lovely break and time to recharge the batteries. Thank you to all at The Ship. We will return.

    Short stay in Minehead

    A solo trip from Bucks to collect a student from Foxes. The second time I have stayed, room, food and service fantastic.
