  Sneaky night away in Room 45

  My wife and I spent a night here as an impluse purchase from GroupOn and we couldn't have been happied with literally everything about our stay. The room was beautiful and spacious, the food in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was lovely, and every member of staff we spoke to was really friendly and helpful, Perfect location just off the M62 and no noise from passing traffic, with plenty of parking (with no potholes to be seen). Certainly somwhere I would be happy to stay again if we ever find ourselves in the area.

  Lovely stay

  My mum and I stayed overnight on 25th January and had a great time. Relaxing hotel, spacious, clean rooms and really good food. We received a warm welcome, were both impressed with our room, (definitely recommend a suite!) and had a really relaxing afternoon and evening. There's a good selection of food on the menu and good quality. We will definitely be staying again. I read a review which was critical of the car park, yes there may be some pot holes, but easy to avoid and a very well located place to park.

  8th feb friends night

  Absolutely loved it here. Got our deal through groupon and the good was amazing, the staff went above and beyond for us while we was there and was made to feel very welcome. The room was cosy and they even put us on the bottom floor when asked. Could not recommend a better place to stay and eat. Thank you.

  A friendly home from home

  Once we had found the entrance we settled in immediately. Christine on the front desk was amazingly helpful and our room was fantastic. This was our weekend base while we visited dear boy at the university. Despite full bookings of weddings and partnerships we were made welcome at the bar and restaurant. Food was delicious too. Big shout out to Dionne and Oliver for going above and behind with service. Thank you! We shall be back

  Disappointed

  Visited this hotel for overnight stay on a Saturday night stay through Groupon with evening meal included.tabled booked for 8.00pm,sat down and ordered 8.05pm waited till 8.55 no food arrived walked out very poor service,nice bedrooms but decor in restaurant and bar areas need refurbishment also hospitality from staff needs improving.so as a hotel disappointing.
