GoodMy husband and I stayed in their ensuite room for two nights, the room was nice and clean. Good shower water pressure. Easy to find location, friendly hosts. Good breakfast but sausages have room for improvement!

Lovely room, just needed a decent cleanThe farmhouse is well located not far off the A1 south of Berwick, with plenty of places to visit nearby. The hosts are lovely and friendly, and do a good breakfast. We stayed in the "Gold Room", which was a good comfortable size, with a large double bed and a single, plus a sofa. The ensuite was a decent size, with a large shower which was very powerful. All rooms were occupied, but the room was nice and quiet. The only negative was the cleanliness - the toilet obviously hadn't been cleaned from previous guests (I won't go into details!), some shelves were thick with dust, and the top of the kettle was filthy. It's a real shame, as otherwise this would have been highly recommended.

Lovely accomodation in Gorgeous surroundings...Great room, with lots of space and home comforts..The hosts are lovely and generous..We sat in the garden in the evening after a hectic day out at Farn and it was just so serene, with hares, barn owls and swifts all in the backdrop of the Cheviot hills...The breakfast was wonderful and Barbara was so accommodating with us being Vegetarian/Vegan , had one of the nicest cooked breakfasts ever! Set us up for another day out on Lindesfarn, which is really close by.. Perfect and would visit again!

Great place for a short breakBarbara, your hostess is a lovely lady with a lovely country farm guest house. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast in the morning is to die for. Barbara cannot do enough to make your stay a pleasant one and nothing is too much trouble. So if you're planning to tour around the north East of the country, this is one place I would recommend for a short stay. I will be going back.

you wont be dissapointedif you want a quiet break make your way to the old farmhouse,it makes a perfect place if you want to go sightseeing, or if you just want to chill out this is the place for you ,the rooms are spacious and very clean when we arrived Barbara greeted us with a big smile ,and welcomed us to her b&b but to us it was not a b&b ,it was like she was inviting us to her home ,Barbara showed us our bedroom then the lounge for the guests the the room where breakfast is served ,and you do get a breakfast that fills you up so there is no complaints there, her husband Eric is good you can talk to him and is a good listener so is Barbara ,within a short time you get the impression that they have known you for years .so we are going to make a point to go back and stay for a few more days ,or maybe a bit longer ,and if you have a dog it is made most welcome .so if you planning to take a trip down to Berwick upon tweed in the near future i would recommend to check out the old farmhouse and try and get booked in ,PS Barbara and Eric are wonderful .
