Good Location, Good Staff, But Not A 4 StarsFor 5 nights at March we, my family and I, stayed at a king bed size standard room. The room was big and there were a lot of free space but there is not any carpet. The location (Icheryshahr) is very amazing. A long list of monuments is in walking distance. However, since we traveled by our own car, we had a lot of problem there. The area is like a big maze! You should have a map with you always. + The staff was very young and active. They're very polite also. Asghar, the day manager, knows English well enough and he is so helpful. - One room in each floor hasn't got any window to street. - The diversity of foods is not wide enough. - There is not any elevator. - There are not amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving material and so on. To sum up, although the hotel benefit from good staff and with considering of having potential of a lux 4 stars hotel, unfortunately in some aspects they offer less than 3 stars, force to consider the hotel a 4 stars B&B with the 3 stars service.

Worse hotel ever in my life!Originally my reservation was at Hotel 28 in Baku, but when I arrived there, I got told that the hotel was in overbooking and they were sending me to another hotel. So I got sent to Old Baku Boutique Hotel. Well, this was the worse horror hotel i have ever been in my life (I have been traveling from Australia to South America). The place is very dirty, there is no refrigerator in the room, no a shower box, no spotlights, the A/C was turned on for me at 30 C and stayed that temperature for 4 days, because there was no remote control and even if I asked 10 times to turn off or make it lower, nobody did anything and there was no remote control! During my first night the bed broke down due to the cheap quality of the furnitures. The breakfast is very poor and cheap and no one spoke English except one person on the affiliated hotel Golden Time. Last but not least, I got cheated coz they charged me the same price that I was supposed to pay at Hotel 28 but this hotel is way lower and probably to be considered a 2 stars hotel. My suggestion: stay away!

couple of days visit - week after F1The picture on the website show a nice, attractive, and classic build hotel. However..... inside is a bit of a different story. The room can be large, but empty. Furniture feels cheap, and only one chair, not handy when with two people. Our room was not cleaned the couple of days we were there, nor were the towels replaced. Breakfast is very very basic, but a boiled egg is normally good. Reception desk staff's service was mediocre, depending who is there. One can be very quiet and not very helpful and responsive, the other shows a little more activity and can engage in actually answering the question. For low budget this is a good place to go, if you like reasonable service, clean sheets sometimes, re-supplies, and friendly faces at the reception, then this place is not worth staying in.

A RELAXING HOMEI love our stay, its worth the price...location is good, just few minutes walk to old baku. Staff speak English. room is clean with good WIFI....we booked online and the hotel arrange for us pick up taxi from the airport with 20manat, tho the driver does not speak english but its ok. We reached early morning though the room is not yet ready but they allowed us to store out luggage and had breakfast and use of washroom to freshen up...then we started our roaming around the area.
