  Excellent option for a relaxing beach holiday

  Very nice and modern hotel, bright large Premier Room with Private Terrace with ocean views, very quiet area, attentive service, the food was delicious, an excellent option for a relaxing beach holiday

  too many children...

  We spent 10 wonderful days at the Oberoi in Ajman and all together we have been very happy and spoiled. Spacious rooms and bathrooms, very good quality beds. The pool is fantastic, the beach is nice (plastic here as well, just like everywhere else on this planet). The service is exquisit! The staff is very attentive and they try to do everything possible for you. Sometimes at breakfast a bit slow... During the pandemic there is no buffet. The quality of the food was excellent. We had halfboard and never had any complaints. The downside can be the weekends in the UAE (Thursday to Saturday) when larger families who live in eg Dubai come to spend the weekend here. Usually it means a lot of children. We had about 30-40 children at the same time there. If you are unlucky like we were, the pool and the beach as well as the restaurants get terrorised by a handful of children who have zero behaviour and their parents simply don't care. The staff does nothing about it. (Which I experienced at many other luxury hotels around the world), But they could seat people seperately. So many couples who enjoy a quiet holiday should be seperated from families with kids. Why does this hotel need a "Kids-Club" and why provide bikes?! So the kids can cycle between the sun loungers around the pool? If they reduce the offer for children, they will attract less families with kids and more couples. Would we go back there? Even though we loved everything, we probably will not return because of the above mentioned risk. That is a pity.

  A place where you can relax and not think about anything

  I can write so many attributes: elegant, stylish, demure, but it has to be experienced first hand to understand. First, it is not the typical style of a OAE hotel. It is simple, luxurious and elegant. The service is exquisit and unobtrusive. We stayed in the premier room with a terrace with views into the sea and pool. The room was very spacious, very stylishly furnished. I loved the electrical curtains. The bathroom was huge with a bath tub and a shower cubicle. The toilet conveniently had a door. The window in the ceiling was letting the sun in so it had natural lighting. The storage room conveniently hid all of our suitcase out of sight and provided good space for storage. The best feature is the pool. It is always the right temperature so you dont shiver when you enter the water. One could swim laps or simply leisure around. There are always enough sun beds or cabanas because the pool is so long . No need to ask for the towels, the lifeguards are very attentive and will bring them immediately when you come. An ice lolly is always a tasty treat. The beach is beautiful, but surely plastic finds its way to the shore. It is cleaned every day, but what can one do. People are an irresponsible bunch. I would recommend to put back the cabana curtains so it provides shade throughout the whole day. Food is delicious and very diverse. I loved the fact that there was no buffet. I think buffets are wasting food. We stayed 10 days and toward the end, of course started repeating the meals. I would potentially recommend chefs dish of the week. Theres a good selection of Indian dishes, but if you dont like/eat them, then the choice is smaller. The gym is a stand alone building with ceiling to floor windows. It is well equipped. Theres a separate yoga room with greenery view which is very calming. We did not use the spa. We also did not use the Library room, but I saw many guests working there in peace and quiet. Thank you very much, the Oberoi team for looking after us during this amazing vacation.

  One of the best hospitality experiences weve had...

  Not only does the place take your breath away, the staff and crew did an absolute delightful job of making our stay memorable. A special shout out to Piyush, Shashank, Shruti and Joshi from the FnB team. The housekeeping team was always at our beck and call while the kids did their best to keep them on their toes.... special thanks to Amal from housekeeping. Room - 8/10 Food - 7/10 View - 10/10 Overall Service - 10/10 Overall Experience - 10/10 Highly Recommended for special occasions and celebrations over a short staycation...

  An Outstanding Resort

  I stayed in the resort for one night, i have to say its one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had in my entire life. i travelled to 35 countries globally but i never enjoyed the place, food , service the way I did in the Oberoi. Special thanks to the F&B team in the Seafood restaurant including Richilda, Nithin, Sanjay who blew us away during our dinner on the night of the 7th March. They were AMAZING. Also special thanks to the ONE & ONLY Chef Gaurar who gave us all love with his SUPER TASTY dishes . The food was heaven and i enjoyed every single meal i ordered ., supported by Chef Atul and Chef Jitu. Guys, keep doing whatever you are doing, because you are just phenomenal Linda Abdul Hay
