  Escape to the Dales

  Fantastic night away with our 2 teenagers . All felt very safe from a Covid point. Our room was lovely and very clean. Evening meal and breakfast were delicious and the level of service was excellent. We will definitely be back.

  Great food, big portions

  We only ate here, we didn't stay in a room. The restaurant service was great, everyone was really friendly. The food was really nice too, I had the steak burger which was huge and came with fries and onion rings, my daughter had the fish goujons and said they were really tasty. The food was well priced and portions were very generous.

  Filthy!

  The room was absolutely filthy, the bag of toiletries we received on arrival had already been opened and used - surely this isn't very covid safe? There were over 50 drain flies which we had to kill during the night, there was dust everywhere, nothing had been cleaned behind any cabinets for months and months - maybe even years. The curtain poles and blinds were broken. I can't comment on service as we didn't eat or drink in the pub - the cleanliness of the room completely put me off. Very disappointing.

  Best birthday meal ever.

  We stayed at the new inn for my birthday. Me and my girlfriend were absolutely overwhelmed with the quality of service. The staff are such lovely people. So welcoming and attentive right to every tiny detail. The food was lush, I had the confit belly pork which was truly outstanding. My girlfriend had the chicken supreme which in her words, "was ****in unreal" (and she is very, very fussy - so compliments to the kitchen) Then, the rooooom. It was beautifully elegant, stylish and spacious. We booked the family suite and it was sooo worth it. The bed was so comfortable, we had such a lovely sleep followed by another stellar performance from the kitchen with our eggs benedict and full english that was wolfed down instantly and set us up for a beautiful day in Clapham. The surrounding area is divine and such a great location for a break away. Price is more than reasonable. We will be returning.

  Outstanding in every way

  I ordinarily dont leave reviews but I couldnt recommend more! Amazing establishment with amazing staff who couldnt do more to ensure our stay was nothing short of incredible. The owner, greeted us and made sure we were enjoying our stay. The room was spacious, clean and elegant. Covid regulations were adhered to, to a T. Food was delicious, couldnt fault it! Had breakfast, dinner and another dinner just before we left. Each meal was presented beautifully and the accompanying drinks were also faultless. The scenery just added to a lovely, lovely experience. Thank you all very much! Well definitely be back!
