    Spot on

    I stayed at the new George, whilst my friends stayed in apartments. They were gutted they didnt stay here, ideal location situated in the middle of the bars in jesmond. Richy the owner is a great host and his staff cant do enough for you, with jam jar bar below me and my fellow 31 stag members sat outside drinking all afternoon. The rooms were spot on, clean, tidy and very reasonable in priced, would highly recommend you staying here if you want to be in a prime location. I will be back and thanks again.

    Stag

    Stayed here for my stag do, theres a nice seated area at front. Good value but you get what you pay for. It has a restaurant and pub below bed is ok for a night or two. Would not recommend for family.

    Worst hotel I have ever stayed in 2nd day room not cleaned 3rd day half cleaned.TV remote doesn't work bed light same. Never anyone on reception in the morning though states on notice back of door maned 7am to 11pm No WIFI. Have been coming to Newcastle every two months for the past 5 years and can say this is the most disappointing place I have ever stayed.

    Reasonable place to stay in Newcastle upon Tyne

    This is a budget style hotel set up in an old hotel. It is within 25 minutes walking to the city. Theres plenty of eateries along Osborne Street and the hotel has a good eatery and bar on the ground floor. Hotel and bar staff were very good. The room I had did have all that would be wanted for the price. There is limited parking. Bandwidth was bit slow but reasonable.

    Took great care of our large group

    Laura and Richard really looked after us during those 4 nights leading to our wedding and after. We all enjoyed our stay. Rooms were clean, neat and modern, with cleaning service every day. The small kitchens were well equiped and the 24/24 reception was very welcoming and arranging. Thank you very much for helping us having the best time. Highly recommend.
