Helene, thank you very much for your attentions, it was nice to meet you and I hope to come back soon! This is such a nice place!

Must visitThis clothing-optional resort is a hidden gem. Very peacefully situated. A nice pool with sunbeds. We had the time of our lives. The hosts are very helpful and very friendly. We can recommend this resort. This was the 2nd time we visited.

Relaxing, quiet, friendly atmosphere and superb surroundings. It was our first visit, we stayed in a safari tent, a little noisy, but otherwise good. Mosquitoes were a bit of a pain but didn't spoil the holiday once we got the best spray etc. Debbie and Roberto were good hosts and made us feel very welcome. BBQ night was good but have to say there was room for improvement. Breakfasts were adequate but again room for improvement, not great value for money.

Love the Natural! We just returned to the US after our 4th stay at the Natural. It is a great place to stay and a close to some great beaches in Curacao. Roberto and Debby are the best resort managers and are always there to help. The resort is very nice and we love staying in the bungalows. Due to COVID 19, we were the only guests there during our 2 week stay. However, the beaches we went to (Porto Mari and Knip Playa Grande) had lots of people there. A rental car is highly recommended. The Natural is conveniently located in Willibrordus and is close to grocery stores. There are also several good restaurants near it. Williwood on a Sunday is great for music and a good meal. We enjoyed the scuba diving at Porto Mari and can highly recommend the dive shop there. As for getting a PCR test to return to the US, the ADC lab is very good and only about 15 minutes from the resort. We got our lab results back the same day (the lab states same day results if you do your test before 11 am, which we did). We are looking forward to our return to the Natural!

Perfect place to experience naturism for the first - or fiftieth - time!We just returned from our first visit to Curaçao, and a lovely stay at The Natural. Having read about this place for years, I was eager to find another naturist option as the such have grown fewer in the Caribbean in recent years. This was all we had hoped for and more. A couple words to the wise to lead out. First, as you can see on their website, the bungalows are perched at the top of a steep ravine on an island already known for high winds. It was REALLY. WINDY!!! - especially the first two nights of our stay. My wife LOVES the wind, so she thought that was great. Wind makes ME edgy, so I had work on my deep breathing a bit more. No question, windy days make for better sleeping and fewer bugs. Secondly, as we had read before departure, finding a nude beach on Curaçao is a tall order. There are options (which I'll write about in my blog) but none are official, and all are difficult to access. The pool was fabulous, as was the adjoining sundeck. And the nearby textile beach was gorgeous. Just a bummer to wear a swimsuit when you leave the resort. Like the reviewer before us, we were the only guests for most of our stay. We chatted quite at length with managers Roberto and Debby, (friendly and helpful before, during and after our stay!) who told us that in normal times they would have been booked solid during this period. Lucky for us, I guess, as we would have never been able to make sure a late booking. They say that about 70% of their guests are from Europe. We would have enjoyed hanging with that crowd, but to be sure, we enjoyed having the run of our own private resort as well. The grounds are beautifully manicured and they've spent much of the pandemic repainting and sprucing up the rooms. Our bungalow was well appointed and we loved the large porch, especially in the evenings. And since nearly every restaurant in Curaçao has outdoor dining, we visited more excellent restaurants in the course of one week than we have for the entirety of the past year. Amazing! Great day trips to Boka State Park and Mt Christoffel, and Willemstad is super charming - at least now, when the cruise ships are out of commission. Compared to our time on other Caribbean islands, we felt very safe whether in the city or exploring the outback. As to the title of my review... If you're thinking about trying out naturism or have a reluctant partner less sure about the idea than you are, you could hardly find a better place for a first-run than The Natural. There's plenty of space and privacy to acclimate, even if you wish to stay on your own veranda, and given the spacious layout, you still wouldn't feel crowded even if all 12 units were occupied. Perfect for newbie naturists. You'll never want to get dressed again.
