Great stay at a wonderful hotel.Had a great 4 night staycation Sept 14th- 18th with family. It was lovely being able to relax in a beautiful location whilst feeling Covid safe, lots of precautions with cleaning and sanitizer in rooms and around the hotel. The rooms were very clean and had lots of extras, robes, sippers, shower gel/ shampoo and more. Tea tray had a good assortment of teas and fresh milk in the well stocked mini bar. Shortbread and tasty flapjack a bonus. Also we had what everyone wants a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Breakfast had a very good choice of cooked or buffet food served by helpful and organised staff. Dinner was enjoyable , good choice and food cooked to order , and after lovely deserts.. Dietary needs catered for no problem thanks to Max and Chef, nothing was to much trouble. Lovely hotel with so many excellent reviews.. Thank you Allan, Max and staff for a wonderful stay. Look forward to a return visit.

Lovely spot tucked away in the villageBooked through Secret Escapes and we had a lovely 2-night stay. Im so glad we booked dinner and breakfast - the food was delicious in both the evening and the morning. The room was huge and very comfortable - really no complaints at all!

Beautiful Valley LocationWe have just returned from a 3 night stay, and couldn't fault a thing. From the amazing view from our room, cleanliness throughout, staff who couldn't do enough for you, and not to mention the delicious food which was served at breakfast and evening dinner. Thank goodness there were tremendous walks to burn off the calories! The location was good for us, away from the main towns, we went for the walking and peace and quiet, and this is exactly what you get. Good value for money too, lots of little extras in the deluxe room which all add towards having a lovely break. We'd prefer different wines on the menu, but that's just a personal thing! Thank you all at the Mulberry Inn, keep it up!

So sad, gone into lockdown again! This was our first awayday since lockdown in March so we were a bit worried about what to expect. We needn't have. Allan and his team had prepared the public areas very sensibly and provided lots of information prior to our visit. Food was as ever very good with pretty well the usual choice. What was nice that on arriving for breakfast it still was the 'Mulberry', lots of laughter, helpful staff, smoothies except the buffet was not 'help yourself' but delivered to your table!! We stayed for the Spanish themed meal with a wide variety of courses, perfectly matched with selected wines. How the chef manages it all was amazing. Always a nice short walk on arrival from the inn down the country lanes to relax you. Day 2 was very wet so a drive to Llangollen (via the sensible Chirk route) to visit the wide range of independent shops. Another great stay, we have of course already booked another stay.
