  just great

  Went for a wedding, the staff could not do enough for you very friendly , the venue every thing was first class. food was excellent, beer good , location very nice , nice gardens the wedding chapel very good . would recommend it and have do to others

  Wedding November 2020

  This is a little gem. We had our wedding here on 10th November during English lockdown. The staff are very friendly and went out of their way to make our day special. The bridal suite room was lovely. The wedding chapel is delightful and the wedding day food was excellent as was the bar meal we had the night before. They made our day very special even in difficcult covid times. The Mill had all the covid regulations in place. The grounds were brilliant for our photos. Thank you to everyone specially Graham Liz and Audrey who worked wonders to ensure our wedding went ahead without any problems. We will definitely return next year. Sandra and Brian

  November wedding

  The mill is absolutely beautiful thats why we picked it for our wedding which graham and team did us proud..nothing was to much trouble and they always greated us with a smile in these not nice times ( covid).our wedding day was perfect.the Gardens are well maintained with some quirky little areas.lovely for our photographs!!! The wedding Chapel is devine very romantic with the candles!!food was excellent and plenty of it .we will definitely be back for our wedding anniversary.a big shout out to Graham and his team for all there hard work to ensure our day went well. Thank you guys ur amazing Tez & Tracey Young.

  Wedding

  After having our wedding postponed 4x due to Covid we decided to arrange a small elopement for just the two of us. Fantastic location, beautiful little chapel and delicious food! Margaret in the bar is an absolute delight and everyone made us feel so welcome. WiFi isnt great and a hook for long wedding dresses would be really useful in the bedrooms.

  Wedding that never happened

  First of all I would like to say that the service in the first instance answering all of our questions was fantastic. We were recommended by a number of people to use this venue. I wanted the highest package and pay for it and more if needed. The sticky bit was that I wanted a smaller affair with regards numbers. I wanted to reduce by around half. If possible add bacon sandwiches on the evening. This would result in half the number of breakfast meals being served. The cost comparative is rather wide, I would also suggest staffing levels would be less. I understand that the bar sales would be reduced (or would they). The reason for the review is not with malicious intent, however to try and reason was definitely out of the question, this suggests that people may encounter problems when trying plan their big day. I'm sure their reputation speaks for itself and may fill the midweek day we were looking at it. Please accept my apologies if you find the account of events however what will be our biggest day is not at the venue we wanted.
