Fabulous stay at Padstow Harbour HotelAmazing stay at Padstow Harbour Hotel. The staff were so helpful, we really felt well looked after. The breakfast was really good and we enjoyed a lovely fish curry one evening. We really liked the decor and warm atmosphere in the hotel restaurant. Our room was also superb.

Relaxing short breakStayed for two nights for what should have been Padstow food and xmas festival. The room was at the top of the hotel and was extremely comfy and clean. Great views down towards the town and harbour. Lovely touch of a complimentary decanter of gin and Sherry on the room. Ate in the hotel one evening, the staff were friendly and attentive. There was a good choice of food. It was lovely that the staff and management made time to stop and chat with the guests. Breakfast offered a good choice of food all cooked to order. We will definitely be back.

Loved it hereWell looked after from the minute we arrived. Our room wasn't quite ready so we went into the bar for a drink and some lunch, whilst we were there the receptionist brought us our key and informed us that we had been upgraded. The room was lovely, bed huge (ask for a ladder hahaha). Comp Sherry & Gin & tonic, wonderful view all very clean. We booked for dinner so pleased we did. I had Beef in Red Wine from the festive menu it was lovely! my husband had the seafood linguini which he really enjoyed. All the staff are amazing but stand outs were Paul and Ben. On the strength of our first night meal we booked for our second night and did not regret it. Thank you all for a relaxing safe break. We can't wait to visit again.

Poor COVID 19 safetyMy husband and I booked a long awaited break at this hotel, I am a front line nurse and have worked throughout the pandemic and as for all front line staff it has been extremely stressful. I chose the hotel because of what appeared to be strict covid safety guidelines. I witnessed these not being adhered to 3 times in one afternoon! In the hotel bar sat a couple that we had seen earlier that day being denied entrance into a pub after giving their postcode to staff and found to live in a Tier 3 area, they had clearly not been asked that to enter the hotel! Later a young couple were wondering around the hotel, lobby and bar with no face coverings, I politely spoke to the manager who agreed with me and confronted the guests, one said he was exempt and the other said she wasnt and she was only offered a mask at this point! Later we went for dinner and 5 people walked into the restaurant all with no face coverings and were not confronted by staff or the manager. We decided to leave our meal and end our stay a day early as the environment did not feel safe! I was declined a refund for our meal and the nights stay by the manager That I phoned the next day who said they can not enforce face coverings and that its up to the individual- its not unless exempt. I feel this a kick in the teeth for all front line workers and shame on staff and management for allowing this breach in law!
