  Never felt more at home

  We loved this hotel. The food was first rate, filling, authentic and served first class. We only ate here because we were staying with friends who bought nearby. They stayed there whilst their home was worked on before moving in and became regular customers of the restaurant. Alfreado, the owner, is the nicest man with a warm friendly personality and as he worked in London for many years, spoke excellent English. We normally had the 2 courses for only 15 Euros with a free brochette to begin. I don't know how they manage. As we did not stay I can 't comment on the rooms but the dinning room is clean , with nice tablecloths, napkins and interior. Good lighting and outdoor scenery out the back.

  A charming host who turns the good into the exceptional

  If you are one of those people who need to stay where you can have a three course meal served in your room at 2 am, and your trousers clean an hour later, then you are far too important to either like or appreciate this charming hotel. I have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels which despite all their grandeur and ostentation are soulless places that are best forgotten. The Marquee is a much more modest establishment, but the experience is fondly remembered. The rooms are spotless and contain all the necessary basics. The dining room offers agreeable food at very acceptable prices. What raises this hotel from good to exceptional is the host. Through out the service was attentive without being either invasive or pushy. We particularly enjoyed his recommendations regarding wine. We had a very pleasant stay and would gladly go back.

  Quiet and peaceful

  This was a nice place to stay, just outside the town itself. Very quiet, clean and good service by Alfredo. Our room had a door opening up into the garden. Parking was good and safe. Walking distance from town, but a bit complicated to find the way. I would come back.

  The perfect base

  Be welcomed by the most loveliest host Alfredo , nothing was too much trouble, my room was spotlessly clean , breakfast was fine tuned with Alfredo's perfect eggs. Looking forward to going back , thank you.

  Breathless beauty, peace and tranquillity

  Breathless beauty, peace and tranquillity. The Marquee hotel is set in an idealic location that would be hard to better. The hotel is great value for money, extremely clean and tidy. The host Alfredo is beyond compare, with his attention to detail and desire to ensure your stay is the absolute best. If your looking for a base to experience the beauty of Tuscany Italy then I can whole-heartedly recommend the wonderful Marquee hotel
