  I have recently visited there on the last Sunday in a business purpose. I have stayed there for two days. The foods were really very good which I had during my trip. The hotel is very neat, clear and clean.

  Quite getaway

  This beautiful home is in a quiet location. Eva is such a sweet lady and very accommodating. We stayed in the Lavender Room. Bed was comfortable and all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed our visit with Eva and the other guests. Will definitely try to get back there when its time for another quiet getaway.

  Wow!

  When we drove up the long driveway to the immense front door we thought we must have made a mistake. This place couldnt possibly be a bed-and-breakfast... but lo and behold It was. We stayed in the lavender suite which was large, clean and very comfortable. It had a private balcony which looked out over the horse pasture of this estate that sits on 95 acres. A very far cry from the usual overnight accommodations view of a parking lot and chain restaurants. The pillows on the king bed were so soft and comfortable that we took a picture of the manufacturers label so we could order these pillows when we get home. If you have any reason to visit this part of Louisiana do not miss the opportunity to stay in this great bed-and-breakfast. Chris L. Charleston, SC

  Pastoral Estate

  Locale: Off main road in tiny Delhi, the huge property is beautifully laid-out, with a large, fish-stocked pond (that can be utilized by guests) & horse stables. Short drive to business district & interstate, as well as Poverty Point NPS site. Accommodations: Can validate authenticity of photos - huge home, incredibly tall ceilings, with custom millwork and other features throughout. Our room was large, with a private bathroom; it even had upscale robes hanging in the closet for our use. Everything was immaculate. Our room was next door to/among bedrooms utilized by our host's family. Didn't notice tissues nor a hair dryer in our room, but suspect if we had asked they would have been provided. Breakfast: Generous, tasty omelette, toast, etc., plus juice and coffee or tea was served in the dining room. House-baked muffins were always available. Helpful suggestions were provided regarding dinner options.

  Don't bother with Jackson or Vicksburg hotels! 22000 square foot mansion at your service

  This place is awesome! Off the beaten path and well worth the small effort to drive there. Highly recommend if you want to have some peace and quiet in luxury. Its a new mansion, not a restored antebellum or civil war federal antique. Sits on about 85 acres with a lake all private. Rooms are quite large and the master suite is about the size of a modern apartment. The B&B aspect provides an awesome breakfast and some entertaining conversation about the place. Don't miss out on a special place to stay and enjoy the countryside.
