  Good for the soul

  Its rare to find a luxury lodge that feels so intimate and relaxing. A sensory experience. A feast for the eyes with exquisite decor, the food passionately five star and from the land, the warmth of the hosts and the fire, surrounded by the tranquility of the Hawkes Bay countryside and bird life. Blood pressure dropped, muscles relaxed and batteries recharged. Everyone deserves to treat themselves at the Manse. You will leave calmer and happier than when you arrived.

  Le Manse luxury among the vineyards

  We spent a long weekend at Le Manse in August and were delighted to find a renovated 1910 villa with all the comforts, and hosts Gary and Dietske who go the extra mile. We thoroughly enjoyed Gary's professional chef skills with a dinner with the wine master, as well as hunting for Truffles and a Truffle lunch. Dietske showed us around the place introducing us to their two kunekune pigs, guinea fowl and cows and telling us the history of the place. They also kindly arranged a round of golf for us. There is plenty to do and see in Hawkes Bay so well worth a second visit and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again at Le Manse.

  Relaxing stay

  What a beautiful place to stay. We felt very spoilt and had a much needed rest. Would highly recommend choosing this special spot to stay. Great hosts and fabulous food. Loved the character building and all the animals. Thanks so much!

  Absolutely amazing!

  We had our honeymoon weekend at The Manse and it was superb! Wonderful hosts who were attentive and friendly and delicious food. The home is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. Would highly recommended for a getaway location.

  Paradise Found

  A Hidden Gem. Luxury hidden in the quiet countryside with Delicious Food and wonderful Hosts equals a Perfect Result! Our hosts Dietske and Gary were welcoming and very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed meeting the Farm Animals, although these are totally separate from the living and outdoor areas, they are friendly and enjoy a visit if you choose to. The pre dinner nibbles were amazingly tasty followed by an enormous feast of beautiful food. Gary is an amazing chef! The house is beautiful and i would love to return soon! My husband really enjoyed finishing the day with a cigar!
