  Dreadful best describes the experience

  My advice is don't even think about staying there. The pub is quite friendly but it's got to be one of the worst places ever in regards to the hotel facilities. At £30 it's a rip off , I was not expecting a lot at that cost , had to sleep with clothes on as the heating was not working .

  Decent enough

  I was skeptical about booking here, but left with very little choice a couple of days before my stay and wanting to do things on a budget, I was left with little choice and so took the plunge. It is part of a small but lively pub which has nothing special on the drinks front. Strongbow is a reasonable £2.80, but bottles of Bulmers are a rip off £3.75, so my advice is stick to draught. Rooms are not luxurious, but are clean and comfortable. A desk would have been handy but the rooms are equipped with TV. Also free internet is available (The Cloud sign up needed) There is a bathrooom with bath, toilet and shower. There is a kitchen with free bread and cereal and a microwave too. Noise from the pub is not too bad as long as you don't want an early night. There is an annoying clicking noise occasionally outside room 1, but it's not enough to mess up sleep

  I love it!!

  The main top is the best place to stay, bar staff and customers are very friendly!! The women behind the bar are very friendly and always willing to help!! The owner help in anyway he can!! The atmosphere is brilliant, there is entertainment on Saturdays can go on a little bit late until about 1am but I enjoyed it. It's a close net community who look after them selfs and eachother but if you take your time to get to know them they will make you feel welcome !!

  Widnes Weekend break

  A basic room to stay with bed and a television. The facilities were standard to make your breakfast as well as a Microwave to make a snack. Also good washroom facilities to have a shower. All excellent value for money. I would definitely stay again. Well worth it

  Amazing, friendly would go back

  Stayed here with my boyfriend, our hilton booking at the airport fell through as I messed up on the dates. This was a last minute booking and I wouldnt think twice about booking again. The host was great and friendly, bar staff also friendly and went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. No food was served at the time we arrived so the staff went out of the way to order it in for us. The pub has some locals who did nothing but make us feel welcome. For the price and location I would recommend this place 100% Dont understand why people have given the bad reviews.
