  Home away from home

  Beautiful setting with water and mountain views. Warm inviting rooms and comfy bedrooms. Scrumptious breakfast and lovely hosts. This is definitely the most luxurious place to rest and relax in town, minutes from Cushing Academy.

  Beautiful, Charming and Cozy!

  When we pulled up to the B&B, our jaws dropped. It was even more spectacular in person! We were immediately greeted by Terry who could not have been nicer. She showed us around and we were amazed by all of the small, thoughtful touches. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I cannot say enough about the breakfasts! Delicious coffee, fresh fruit and the best bacon, egg and cheese croissant Ive ever tasted! Terry even wrapped up a breakfast for my son who slept through breakfast! We enjoyed every minute of our stay and cannot wait to return. The property is stunning, and beautifully maintained. Terry and Paul were most gracious hosts and we truly appreciate everything.

  Charming, tastefully restored historic house with amazing views of the lake and the mountains.

  The warm and inviting house was spotless! Our hosts couldnt do enough for us. The breakfasts were delicious and we felt that we had slipped back in time to a simpler, yet elegant era. We plan to return.

  We Could Not Have Been Happier

  Beautifully restored home with majestic views and warm, helpful, interesting hosts. We also enjoyed meeting the other guests who clearly appreciate that this is a very special B&B. We cross-country skied in the area, and also enjoyed walking on the B&B grounds, which offer a panoramic view of (and direct access to) the lake and of distant mountains. The view encompasses thousands of acres of woodlands, from closeby including the lake, to far in the mountains in the distance, that are protected by conservation easements. The view from our immaculate but very comfortable room on the second floor, overlooked everything - - a wonderful scene to wake up to! Breakfast was elegant and terrific in all respects. The atmosphere in this B&B is so welcoming. . . our heartfelt thanks to Terry and Paul.

  Great place to stay

  Beautiful place, friendly hosts, delicious breakfast, and wine/beer stocked in the fridge: this was as pleasant a B&B experience as we have had in a long time! We especially appreciated the little details - from chocolates on the bedroom table to a note left for us on the front door in case we arrived while Terry was outside. We visited in the winter and borrowed two pairs of snowshoes to tromp around the back field before dinner. Thanks, Terry!
