Good, but much space for improvement...Not a bad hotel. Every room has its own private hot spring tub, which kinda makes the public outdoor one a little ignored by the guests. But rooms can be vastly different, depending on which you get. A friend got a great room, spacious and bright and all. But I got a room right at the end of a corridor (again), and maybe that's why the configuration is a little off, and the room smaller than usual. Firstly, there's a step up just inside the door, to where the beds are. Not very friendly, that. And the room was so small, the 2 single beds were practically cramped side-by-side together, with almost no space in between. There wasn't a bedside drawer or anything of the sort either, so our room phone had to be placed on the ground! Imagine squatting down or bending over the use the phone every time! But even with the room so small, we still had 2 legless "chairs" placed right between the beds and the TV in the room. I wish they might as well have done away with those legless "chairs" and given us a little more space in the room to move about. We can always watch TV on the bed, y'know. There is also unstable WiFi in the rooms... I managed to find the WiFi service for my room, but even when I appeared to be connected to the WiFi, I was not really connected to the Internet. WiFI fail. The only really good thing was how spacious the bathroom was, with the hot spring tub in the middle. I guess the hotel was thoughtful enough to cover up the sharp corners of the tub with a piece of plastic, but I'd still be careful with all those sharp comers about the bathroom. Also, do note that there seems to be a Block A and Block B in this hotel. Block B looks older and it has no lift, so guests have to drag their luggages up the stairs. Not friendly too, that. At first sight, it seemed like a really chic hotel and the awesome bathrooms do blow your mind away. But considering the crappy room I got, I wouldn't say the entire hotel is really that awesome. Comparing the room I got, and the room my hotel neighbor has, I almost feel discriminated.

For leisure travel, there is little joy hereMy husband and I went here for a night to explore the country's famed hot springs. This hotel is on a busy main strip, next to other run-down hotels, dirty mechanic shops and empty, poorly kept plots. We arrived around 2-3 pm and couldn't check-in, so we took a walk to explore the area. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to 'Old Street', which is fantastic for snacks and a local experience, but you have to walk down busy streets with little area for pedestrians. It is also about a 20 minute walk to the entrance of a lovely seaside walk. The hotel itself looks like it was built around 20 years ago and hasn't had a refresh since then. The rooms may have been updated in the last 10 years but generally for price, I would have expected more. We enjoyed the hot spring tub in our room but it was very basic. The last time I was in this type of hotel was in a 3rd Tier Chinese city. Finally, we ate dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food quality (seafood hotpot) was good quality and value but the breakfast that came with our room was a big zero. We had to go elsewhere. Overall, if you're looking for a one-night romantic get-away, go somewhere else. We were both sorry we wasted our time/money on this place (but frankly, I don't know there are any better options in the area!). This area could really use a nice hotel.

Not as good as I thoughtIt's a bit worn out & the hot springs facilities in the room is basic. The room is clean. However not many power charging points. The breakfast is simple much to our disappointment. Not much things around the hotel except a 7-11 store. Will I go back? Most likely not.

Aircon is not working and there is nothing they can do.We went in a group of 12, total 8 rooms and miraculously all 8 rooms have faulty aircon. The weather is 37 degrees, can u imagine a room without aircon? Definitely not what we expected. When ask, the hotel reception said there is nothing they can do and brought a fan to one of the room. Ridiculous!

Room for improvementMy girlfriend and I stayed for two nights while we explored the surrounding areas. We were happy with the size of our room but there was a lingering smell of tabacco in the room. Hotel staff were friendly and helful
