    Perfecto

    Disappointed

The pictures make the unit look nicer than it is. Fabric furniture is dirty as is the carpeting. Beds are decent. Definitely needs updating and better cleaning service. Coffee table in living room was dirty and had prints and dirt on it. Kitchen table had crusted food on it from previous visitors. Pool and workout room were closed. Need to make sure I wasnt charged a resort fee. Charged $20 a night to park in garage.

    They made it right

My husband and I selected the Lodge because it was one of the few that confirmed it had A/C and was also near hiking areas and the downtown area (and has a little convenience store across the street). However upon checking into our reserved room we found that the A/C wasn't working and that it's generally problematic (as shared by previous guests' posts once we started researching the issue). However, the General Manager and the Front Desk Manager Anthony found us a 1-bedroom unit that was cooler and had 2 doors that we could open at night to cool everything down. The 1-bedroom unit was beautiful with updated furnishings, W/D, and all of the at-home amenities plus fun local artwork and a very comfortable bed. We had a very relaxing stay and agree that in the future we'll just book the 1-bedroom units as they are worth the additional cost.

    Decent hotel with flaws

This trip was easily the most stressful one I'd ever been on with about 20 hours of flight delays for a 3-day ski trip. Ultimately, my feeling was that the current state of this hotel provides virtually no benefit compared to an unmanaged or semi-managed Airbnb/rental. Pros: - Close to the lift and town shuttle, essentially Ski-in/Ski-out - Eligible for Epic Pass discount, rates are borderline *inexpensive* before considering an effective 25% tax/fee rate. Still a fine price. - Really nice bathroom Cons: - As I've noticed in other skiing hotels this year, rooms get extremely hot overnight, well into the 70s. A/C didn't work at all, so I had to sleep with the windows wide open every night. - I missed my first day but on my "first" morning where I was going to sleep in, I was instead woken up by constant construction vehicle back-up sounds from 6 AM (not 7 AM like the other review said) until 8 AM. Awful. - This is a "4-star hotel" according to Google but doesn't have dining or room service. There's a coffee shop in the square that opens at 7 AM and offers instant burritos for breakfast. I found this to be straight-up misleading. There's also a "lunch spot" in the square that serves pre-made sushi and sandwiches out of ice chests. Huh?? - They've closed all of their amenities but this seems less like "keeping you safe" and more like corporate sleight-of-hand. It appeared to me that another hotel close by did have a pool and hot tubs open, and these amenities seem to be open at resorts all across ski resorts in the western US. So... what's the reasoning here? - I called and asked for proof that I didn't check in on time due to a travel delay. The first guy just sent me a copy of my booking. I then figured hey, I'm sure we could take care of this via email, but all my emails bounced--there's no way to correspond via email. Finally, I spoke to the manager and he was great about sending me all the information I needed. - More of a "learning" than a con, there is pretty much no village here. With this super-efficient bus system, there is way more value in staying in downtown CB.

    Wonderful condo on the mountain

Had a wonderful experience here recently. Stayed in condo 515- a one bedroom, 2 bath unit. Our son stayed in the pull out living room couch. We were in the luxurious bedroom. King size bed, great linens. Most storage weve had for a ski condo. The bathrooms were both spectacular. Soaking tub in the master bathroom was a highlight considering the hot tub was closed due to COVID. Really excellent full size body wash and shampoo products to use but the very small print says dont take them home or youll be charged. Almost missed this. Great gas fire place , very comfortable sitting area in our living room. Plus patio that gets morning sun and nice view of slopes . Excellent kitchen for cooking. Not too impressed with pots and pans though but sufficed. No condiments provided except salt and pepper shakers. No kitchen supplies like foil or plastic wrap. Were used to those at other condos weve stayed at. Washer and dryer in the unit was great. Free use of slope side ski vallet. But no room on property to tune your skis on your own ( except the garage). The location was absolutely awesome . Real short walk to lifts and bus to town .
