    Trip to Glastonbury

    Wk end stay near Glastonbury the red lion was just up the road so we popped in for a meal service was great food was fantastic nice portions And well presented very nice scampi and salmon was cooked to perfection Well done you guys .

    Friendly place to stay near Glastonbury

    What a lovely place to stay! Colin is incredibly warm and friendly, making the stay a true delight. Ollie in the kitchen cooked up a real treat. The cajun salmon had a fantastic kick of spices along with the freshest and creaminess tasting of mackerel patè. We were looking for recommendations to put on our wedding invites, this place is definetely top of the list! Cheers guys!

    Country pub with loads of atmosphere/

    Great place to use as a base for exploring the ancient area of Glastonbury & the local area. This old coaching inn offers good accommodation in seven rooms and good selection of pub food. Recommended to all.

    Absolutely Fantastic Stay!

    From start to finish this was the perfect trip. The room was better than I had expected, with a real wow factor bathroom / wetroom, very comfy and cozy. And the rooms are furnished and laid out really well. Staff are excellent, the food is fantastic, the included breakfast really good too. Its immaculately clean and I would love to go back. Highly recommended!

    Last minute booking

    My husband and I booked here last minute and it was just perfect We received a very warm welcome from staff and locals The food and drink was very good and the accommodation was outstanding We meet the chef and he is obviously very proud of what he does and a credit to his profession Unfortunately we stayed the night that the enforced closure was announced, but as soon as they are permitted to re-open we will make sure this is the first place we return too Thank you to all the wonderful staff and we will see you as soon as we can
