  Noise outweighs the charm

  I love this inn-its clean, quaint and so pretty as well as centrally locatedand my family and I have stayed here the last two years when visiting my niece who lives in Cazenovia and theres availability. The last two times, however, weve been wakened or not been able to sleep at all due to noise both from other guests in nearby rooms (quaint comes with paper thin walls) and drunk and disorderly patrons of the downstairs and cross-street pubs who loiter and yell on the sidewalk to all hours of night. Also had to be moved this visit due to neighboring guests leaving two large dogs alone in a room who were barking and growling nonstop. As much as the staff are responsive, the noise is unfortunately a detriment that outweighs the charm.

  Best Service

  Best service friendly accommodating staff. Stayed with a group of friends. Bartender took excellent care of us. Food is amazing beds are comfortable rooms are very clean. Always stay here and it gets better every year.

  Guys night out

  This place is absolutely amazing the staff was amazing as well!! Come every year and we be staying here year after year til I die!! The Bartender was also extremely nice and dealt with all our craziness lol!!

  Nice Brunch Place

  We enjoyed a family brunch here for an occasion. The place is nicely decorated, a bit old and it can use some updates. The food was good. The staff was attentive and courteous. I liked the set up and recommend this place to all. The tavern seems nice as well. Good place.

  Special Birthday Weekend

  Perfection and grace circa 1835 with all the modern necessities. Our Queen Jacuzzi Suite was beautifully decorated and quite comfortable. Wallpaper, wood floors, period perfect furniture - not your chain hotel. The staff was unfailingly pleasant and accommodating to our needs. We enjoyed time in the lobby, the atrium, and the tavern. Everyone we encountered, either guest or staff, seemed to be at home. And the location is ideal, central in town, not far from everything else the area has to offer.
