  Amateur Hour!

  Had a mean in August. Oh dear. We were taking in by the photos of meals on their website. The place was like entering an alternative reality. Food was poorly cooked and poorly presented. I got the distinct impression that the staff werent really interested in enhancing the customer experience, just doing as little as they could get away with.

  Food decent, service shocking !!

  Visited today with family, finally got drinks after 50 minutes. Food ok when it finally arrived but if youre in a rush give this place a wide birth. Manager apologetic but no discount. Good location but clueless staff.

  Bad attitude!!!

  I'm a local and work in the industry and have recommended you many times, NEVER again and I won't return. Waiting nearly 30mins for a drink outside tonight and came in to order as I thought it would save time, 'we will be out to take order pal ' really? Your the manager!! 30min waiting, you preferred to walk around your empty restaurant area instead of taking orders!!! Don't visit, plenty of other quality places that are happy to welcome you!!

  Genuinely the worst service Ive ever experienced!

  We had the misfortune of visiting today, we were keen for a nice lunch after a visit to the great orme and saw Lillys, we parked up and couldnt see an obvious entrance (no staff about to ask) as it was all barriered off so walk around the building and entered the garden area towards the back/side entrance which didnt have a barrier, we saw an empty table and thought we best pop inside to ask was it ok to sit there, before we had chance we were greeted by a very grumpy waiter that basically told us off for entering at the side but its too late now so we sat down and waited, and waited and waited.... More people turned up and looked confused as to how to enter?! Luckily we helped them and told them to wait there as there is no sign to help.... I eventually saw another man whom I guess to be the manager and politely asked when he had a moment could we please see a menu, yes he said then walked off and proceeded to do anything but get a menu! Weve now been sat 25 mins with so much as a drink or a menu, grumpy waiter returns with a pad and says so... wanting a drink order, we again asked him could we see a menu please, and he walked off.... we watched him walk around looking busy doing nothing until eventually the manager looking man came with a dirty paper menu for us, hed take it from another table... I assumed the whole point of the paper menus were to dispose of them so as not to cross contaminate during this current pandemic?! At this point nearly 40 mins after arriving with still no drink and a dirty menu we cut out losses and walked out! We drove into the town and had an absolutely wonderful meal at cottage loaf, the service was impeccable, we were seated, given a menu and had drinks and food in less time than it took the lilly to wipe an empty table. Dont waste your time, horrendous!

  Terrible food & service.

  Im local and we sat here as it was outdoor and nice evening. Ordered halloumi with rocket and sundries tomatoes.. It comes super greasy.. literally swimming in oil and despite being a rocket salad the salad was every leaf but rocket!! No one checked on the food until 30 mins after wed finished. When I was asked if all ok I explained that the rocket salad had no rocket.. so not really.. hence why Id left it..the waiters response yes but was the salad ok?!?!! Wed already paid for the food so I wasnt after a refund I was just trying to explain that if the menu says something you expect to get it! Afterwards the waiter came out to say the chef said the salad comes mixed and theres rocket in the mix.. I must have been very unlucky with my MIXED salad. Totally missed the point if you call it a rocket salad it should be a rocket salad!! No apology. Nothing. Disgusting. Never again.
