  Family Birthday Get Together

  We recently stayed here two nights to celebrate a family birthday. First, the hosts Kevin and Suzanne are so gracious and helpful. The inn is decorated in a Victorian style and very quaint. The location is great! Half block from the ocean and walkable to the main street with restaurants and shops! Breakfast was delicious. The best part were the porches. Shaded ones if you prefer that and a top porch with sweeping views of the ocean and comfortable seating. Dont hesitate. Book it!

  Charming and amazing hospitality

  It was a cute couple's getaway and this B&B was exactly what we wanted. It was charming. The owners are sooo nice. We were booked to check in on Friday but a tropical storm hit so we called to let them know we would be arriving on Saturday. The owner was so nice and offered us a late checkout on Sunday. The room was clean. The terrace was so nice we spent the whole afternoon on it. The breakfast was so yummy. The hospitality was overwhelming. We will definitely be back.

  Excellent Stay

  The owners of this historic building do a fantastic job of welcoming guests while not intruding on their privacy. A perfect blend of everything that is desirable in a B and B. Location is ideal. A few steps to the beautiful and clean beach and short walks to the shops of downtown Ocean Grove and the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Rooms are comfortable, nice porches for relaxing and enjoyable breakfasts. For those looking for a low key, quiet beach experience this is the ideal choice. Felt like a step back in time to how the Shore was when I was a kid. Highly recommended.

  Good location, poorly constructed rooms

  I stayed in a Lilac room, it was small but clean. Bathroom was tiny with sink in a bedroom. Most disturbing for me was the pipe located between the windows with loud sound of running water. If people upstairs using shower or toilet, you hear loud running water. For some reason we heard water almost till midnight. That sound combined with loud window AC kept me awake. Windows were facing inside of the building. Shared balcony was nice overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was very basic with limited selections, more selections like waffles are available only on a weekend. Close to the beach though.

  Great Location

  A two minute walk to the beach at one of the nicest sections in Ocean Grove almost to Bradley beach. A nice five minute walk to town makes just parking your car for the duration easy. Town gets crowded on the weekends and parking could be a problem. Old three floor home with three outside decks. Very good customer service from owner Suzanne who let us check in early 10:00 AM since the room was unoccupied the day before. Has beach towels to use daily as well as discounted beach passes. The rooms are old but well cleaned, I believe it is from 1871. Breakfast consists of menu items you select the night before with your room number and time you would like breakfast, hot and cold items and coffee to go station. There is a small ice cream shop on the bottom floor. One negative is that there are seats and a nice little area to enjoy your ice cream but there is a large planter filled with sand that people smoke at. The smoke can get to the front porch where paying guests can sit. This day and age smoking should be banned on the entire property, let alone where kids can sit and eat there ice cream. Covid cleaning was done as best they could and all guests were wearing masks in the building. SeaGrass restaurant in town has fabulous food and so does Artisan Pizza.
