  Beyond Expectations

  Had the privilege of staying at The Lighthouse Boutique Suites for a few nights, from 12th September 2018. Without a doubt one of the finest establishments we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. This place really has the WOW facture. Decor is outstanding, and the rooms are absolutely magnificent. Hendrick, Darrol and the team ensure that your stay at The Light House is an experience you will never forget. Six course breakfast which was presented beautifully, and tasted as good as it looked. Already making plans for another visit next year.

  Where 5 Star means 5 Star.

  Probably the best 5 Star boutique hotel we have stayed at to date. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel special (and we are hard to please). The bubbly came out to have with afternoon scones and jam. We were upgraded to a wonderful room with a large balcony overlooking the mountains. However, all the rooms we saw were a bit special. Excellent linens, toiletries and complementary mini bar. Breakfast was a delight with a flower strewn tablecloth to welcome superb fruit salad, cereals and the best French Toast I can remember. The other cooked dishes were equally delicious and so freshly put together. The staff (all 10 of them) work as a team to cater for your every need. Local restaurants booked along with very reasonably priced taxis to save driving and leaving us to taste the excellent wines! I shall always remember the entire staff team lined up on the steps to wave us off. If you want somewhere special, this could be it. This place deserves to be full every night. We shall certainly be back at the first opportunity.

  Rude and presumptuous service

  My fiancé and I were on the lookout for a bridal suite for the day of our wedding in the Paarl area. We then came across The Light House Boutique Suites and decided to go take a look. On arrival we were met by a seemingly irritated general manager, that took one look at us and proceeded to explain that "this isn't just any place, it's a 5 star hotel" and that we should go check the prices on their website. I couldn't help but wonder if I wore my lab coat and stethoscope around my neck, would I have been greeted with the same welcome. Thanks, but you couldn't pay me to spend the night there.

  High recommendations

  Beautifully appointed facilities with spacious rooms and very attentive staff. The stall learns your name immediately and the proprietors, Darrel and Henry, were very personable and personally drove my party to and from a local restaurant. Mitch from Florida, USA.

  The Best

  My husband and I stayed for 2 nights in the Afro Chic Suite as part of a trip to the Cape Town area. There is only one word to describe the Light House Suites and that is "superb" in every aspect. The location is extremely private and is a great getaway from everywhere. The accommodation is impeccable. We had breakfast on the terrace and were invited to go "off menu" if preferred - nothing was any trouble. We absolutely loved the pool and sun lounge area which we had to ourselves for a good part of our stay. It was bliss. The service is the best I have ever experienced. Darrol and Hendrik and the rest of the staff excel in customer service. They checked with us at every turn to ensure that we had everything we needed. They advised us about places to visit and dine and gave us very clear directions when needed. Staying at the Light House Suites was the highlight of our trip to RSA and we are so glad with our choice of accommodation in Paarl - it is just the best option for the discerning traveller.
