  Great place to stay

  Wanted to go somewhere different for me and my partner to go and waw definately picked the right place :) The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The staff that stood out the most was Matt he knew alot about the building history, always there to help us if needed for more tea bags and always smiling. Everywhere was clean and tidy inside and outside. The food was outstanding very Posh for me but was well worth it and very filling and full of flavour. Will definitely be staying here again if ever go to Wrexham again :)

  Night in Wrexham

  Only 10 mins walk from main railway station and into town centre. Renovated and extended character building; kind of gothic feel with good size rooms with basic decoration. On site restaurant was closed but looked nice; also a bar. Friendly helpful staff.

  Wonderful Sunday lunch

  We has a very enjoyable lunch today at the Lemon Tree. The starters were gorgeous, I had the mushroom arancini which was very tasty and filling. The roast dinner was one of the best I've had out in a long time, plenty of extra veg and homemade roasties, the gravy with tasty and thick too! The desserts were also fantastic, all homemade and even tho I never order a pud (and was already stuffed!) I couldn't resist an egg custard tart. The staff - Matt and Adam we're attentive, helpful and professional and always observing Covid guidelines. We felt very safe regarding Covid, with plenty of hand sanitiser and a good one way system. Thank you so much to Matt & Adam for making our visit very enjoyable and we will certainly be returning!

  Great restaurant

  I wish I could leave separate reviews one for the rooms one for the restaurant I have to say the guys are very friendly and accommodating lovely people the car park is a bit of a squeeze to get on the building itself is lovely the room we stayed in was small but clean our bathroom light didnt work and the bathroom was so small I spent an uncomfortable night as the walls are quite thin I could hear the people next door its on a main road thats not really a problem they were providing continental breakfast that we received the night before good selection all I could say is let us have some proper spoons the small plastic ones provided were rubbish we went down for drinks the first round I paid the second was put on our bill however they double charged us for our first round and my partner only realised when he came back to the room so make sure you check however on saying all that the restaurant was lovely the food was fantastic made us feel very comfortable

  Cheeky little overnighter

  Having had a planned trip away cancelled due to Covid restrictions, I thought Id treat myself to a night away with some books. Ive eaten here a few times so thought Id give the hotel part a try. I was wise to do so! Everything about it was easy, clean, comfortable and welcoming. The afternoon tea was just perfect, the room clean and just the right temperature with a generous amount of tea and coffee available and the breakfast box contained a good selection of things to start the day. Parking is a little tricky but its an old building and its absolutely worth taking that on the chin for the experience once youre in
