  Lovely stay

  Karen and Mark looked after us very well. We were in the Garden Room which had nice views across the bowling green to the sea. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfasts were very tasty with a good system in place to select choices the evening before. The hotel is well situated being about 15 mins walk from the centre of town but far enough out so there is plenty of street parking available. We will definitely consider staying here again when next in Eastbourne.

  Charming sea front hotel

  I am calling it a hotel as it far exceeds a b&b! Everything in place on arrival regarding covid preparations. We were in the Garden room which has a wonderful views out to sea. En suite bathroom with towels and toiletries provided. Complimentary drinks tray with kettle which is replenished at no extra charge. The rooms throughout this beautiful house have a different theme and are tastefully decorated. I would love to know where to buy the pillows that were on the bed, they were so comfortable? Here comes the praise for breakfast - OMG the cooked breakfast was fit for a king. You could choose 6 items which were freshly cooked (to perfection) and ready for when you arrived at your table, along with tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereal, fruit etc. Food quality was excellent too. We have stayed in 4 & 5 star hotels and not had better food! Breakfast times are staggered, 08:30 or 09:00 which was a bit early for us tbh, we are on holiday after all :( The hotel is situated, in our opinion, at the nicer end of town just across the road from the Treasure Island attraction. If you follow the path from treasure island it brings you to the beach with the lovely Beach Shack restaurant. We ate here a few times during our stay, lovely and friendly staff. The weather was kind to us so we were able to just walk and sit and watch the world go by. Three streets back from the hotel is a busy main road where takeaways, shops and pubs can be found in abundance. Takes approx. 25 mins walk into the centre of town. Sovereign Harbour is a trendy place to visit to see the yachts and take a boat trip, again with plenty of eating places. We also loved The Marine pub, great food. We would also recommend the tourist bus which takes you to beachy head and other landmarks. All in all we had a lovely stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Langton's should we visit Eastbourne again. Thank you Karen & Mark, lovely hosts.

  Relaxing Weekend in Eastbourne

  We have just come back from a lovely weekend at Eastbourne staying at The Langtons This was our 12th visit. As always we were made to feel very welcome. Karen and Mark had worked very hard to put Covid safe measures into place whilst still managing to maintain their high standards of comfort and care. Everything was very well organised and managed. Breakfasts were, as always, delicious!

  Lovely sea-front hotel

  Karen and Mark are lovely hosts. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. We had an en-suite room with towels etc all provided and the room had a sea-view. Excellent breakfast and very good value for money all round. The B and B is close to everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay and were made very welcome. We are planning to return again soon.

  Lovely stay here.

  I stayed here with my cousin 15-18th October. Mark and Karen were so friendly and helpful. Hightly recommend. I would most certainly return here if i come back to eastbourne. Lovely rooms we had too. Covid restrictions done well.
