DisappointedStayed one night and that was too many. Way overpriced for location and comfort. Beds were old and saggy, decor was non-existent and very plain. Breakfast decent and accommodating for your schedule. Did appear clean. Traffic noise was very loud most of the night and morning. Would not recommend.

Quiet location,We were disappointed to find that this B and Bwas off the charming main street. Our room was clean but very basic, and the breakfast rather ordinary. We come from Europe and have come to love our American breakfasts. WEwalked into the main street from here ( about 20 mins) to eat in the evening.Overpriced..

Nice Great RoomWe were disappointed when we arrived that this inn is not right in the center of the little town of Chester - admittedly that's my fault for not catching that when researching but we reserved based on affordability. We pulled in as the only car in the lot which made me nervous but 4 other cars were there in morning. The room was just a room, nothing special. We had some extra time to chill so I told the kids let's go to the family room...luckily my son then spotted a directional sign to the great room, the innkeeper hadn't even mentioned it but it's what made the place! It's a lovely room with old fashioned dark decor, comfy couch and chairs and many games, we had a nice hour or so hanging here, just glad we found it. Breakfast was fine, the innkeeper nice. If it's about not spending as much, this is a fine place to stay, but no ambiance. DO check out the Pizza Stone restaurant next door..."lively" and great people watching for sure!

Delicious breakfastA no frills little inn with friendly staff and a fabulous breakfast. The owner even offered tecommendationa for food places in the area. Was a bit hard to see the sign but the owner explained it is a local zoning regulation.

Simple, quaint no frills innWe stayed here for one night for a quick getaway. We arrived just as it was getting dark so we drove by it the first time. The sign is actually on the building, not near the entrance. Our innkeeper checked us in and escorted us upstairs to our room,Sugar Maple. The room was very basic but cute. The bathroom was very clean but also very old. We wanted to enjoy the wood stove in the common room but both before and after dinner we found the seating area fully occupied. We did manage to get a spot to sit later in the evening as the fire was about to go out, so it was still nice. Unfortunately we didn't get a lot of sleep here due to the noise coming from a fan motor all night, which I assume was the bathroom fan in a neighboring room. Too bad they felt the need to run that fan all night long. Breakfast was a nice assortment - frittata, waffle and sausage. I liked having a little bit of everything rather than having to choose one or the other. We checked out immediately after breakfast to explore the area. All in all it's a simple, quaint inn that I wouldn't mind visiting again. But I would bring ear plugs in case someone leaves their bathroom fan on!
