  DECEIVING! HORRIBLE! Not what it appears to be on photos.

  The JUSTICE TOWERS in Brooklyn is an old house, the outside of the property was dirty with some kind of construction stand that appeared to be holding a part of the house up. There was no-one there to check us in upon arrival. We called the phone number listed, left message as there was no answer. A male called back and gave us instructions on how to enter the house. We entered and was disappointed with what we saw and had to go through. The room we reserved and paid for in advance online was not the room giving to us upon arrival. We could not accept the room or the property as a vacation stay, because it was not the photo of the room we reserved online, it did not have a bathroom in the room, and it is not a hotel with an elevator. Which is what we needed due to my husband recent knee operation. The mattress on the bed was lumpy all over not suitable for us to sleep, we both would have woken up with sore bodies. We told the owner/manager this is not acceptable. We expected a hotel room as described on the reservation. He refused to give us back our money. NOW! we see why they want full payment upfront. At the time that I booked this room in April 2019 for June 2019 stay, it showed no "reviews" We did not like it at all. There was nothing about this place we liked. Total deceived and disappointed. After talking with the owner and asking for a refund, he refused. We even tried to compromise with him and ask for half ($500.00) refund he still refused. This was so wrong on so many levels it makes me sad for people who take advantage of others. We paid in good faith for a product/service and if its not what we wanted a refund is due. Its good customer service, not every one will like your product. You have to accept it and do the right thing. We immediately searched for a hotel and found one, a real hotel. It had all the right amenities and breakfast for about the same cost.

  Disgusting place!

  I rented the two bedroom suite at this guest house, that should be condemned as a health hazard! The place is very out of date, very old with no proper heating system for a cold night in Brooklyn. I was trying to figure out if we could do something about it when my kids came screaming saying they found something while they were playing, it was a trap with a dead mouse and roaches!! Disgusting finding that caused us to leave the place at around 10 pm. It was a really struggle to find a hotel room at that time and to convince the kids the next place was going to be free if mice and roaches. The owner of this place didnt even have the decency to return us the money or respond my messages after we left. The property manager took all the blame for the issue but said he couldnt issue a refund at that moment but he said the owner was willing to do it, that we should contact him the day after. All a lie! So here is a picture of our finding, think twice before renting a room in this guest house!
