  A gem nestled in the quaint Village of Jackson, New Hampshire

  We stayed 3 nights in January 2021 and we felt very safe here even in the time of Covid. All measures were taken to insure our health and safety. You can snow shoe or XC ski or downhill ski. Walk from the Inn through the trails into the Village of Jackson for a little lunch or coffee. The Inn's rooms are comfortable and the staff is exceptional. The Inn's restaurant's food is very good and we dined elsewhere a couple times but this was the best.

  Wonderful Spa Experience

  I had reached out to the front desk to make an appointment at the spa for my moms birthday about a week prior to check-in. The spa was closed for the day due to a bad snow storm but the front desk took down my number and information and said someone would reach back out. The next day I received a text from Samantha at the spa and she helped me book the service for my mom. I had told her it was a surprise and asked her to let the front desk know to inform my mom of her massage upon arrival. Samantha put together a beautiful gift and note explaining the service. My mom was so surprised, as was I. The thought and effort that was put in was unmatched. Samantha did amazing! My mom said the massage was great and it was a perfect way the end her evening after a long day of skiing.

  Beautiful Inn!

  Stayed for 3 nights in the Notch Cabin that was separated from the main Inn. Super cozy and private. Hubby and me were there to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. Sherri was Amazing an so full of energy. The staff during breakfast was so attentive and helpful and the bartender James was extremely talented. There is a trail off the parking lot that we snow shoed that was well groomed and easy to follow and we loved the double Jacuzzi tub and the space in the cabin. Also loved there was a porch as we had a lot of footwear that was full of sand and salt. slight nit pick... We had dinner there on our anniversary my meal was good but not great. I got the chicken half. The leg was super delicious and the rest super dry. The potatoes were the same as they served at breakfast and nothing really special. My husbands meal on the other hand was phenomenal. Duck n Donuts with a sweet potato hash. I wish I ordered that instead. I didn't dare complain as our server was overwhelmed and super busy. I already returned my cocktail asking for no lime and no lime juice in a cosmopolitian. Communication between the server and the bartender was misunderstood and somehow I was asked to put down the fork so as not to cause injury. I realize it was a joke but would've been better received had my meal been better. . Our first night was on a Tuesday, i read they had a fire in the pit everynight but they didn't that night. I also was a little disappointed that little things weren't offered such as a mid-day snack or "free" salts for the jacuzzi tub. I didn't think much of it feeling because of the pandemic the Inn needed to do things differently until we went to another Inn, Sugar Hill, that same week and those details were included. I am nit picking and want to be sure it's understood that I would recommend this place and for me would rate a 4.75. I do feel for the price, individually wrapping cookies or offering free tub salts and no additional charge for rooms with soaker tubs should be considered.

  Valentines day weekend!

  perfect choice for a couples getaway. look no further, you should stay here. Room was clean and quite. Inn was at full capacity. everyone had their masks on in all of the common areas. I reserved and paid for a suite. Was given room keys to the wrong room and ended up in just a regular room. Manger apologized and made up for it by giving me a gift certificate for a 2 night stay in the best room in the house at a later date! Even without the gift cert. I would return and also recommend this bed & breakfast to all of my friends and family.

  Valentines getaway!

  My fiancé and I went up to The Inn at Thorn Hill for a romantic Valentines Day getaway! We enjoyed all the lovely amenities this New England Inn had to offer with its romantic fireplace and the two person jacuzzi spa tub. The Inn is a great location for skiers 4 mountains all within 15 mins of the Inn! One being just 5 minutes up the road. We ended up staying 3 nights in 3 different rooms. After a little mix up upon arrival for our two night stay we had to switch rooms with a guests that was given the wrong key and was already settled in the room we booked. We stayed in the Bookmead Suite the first night, the Stanford White the second, and the Jackson the third. The Stanford white was definitely our favorite and wish we could have spent more time in that room. The only negative thing I have to say is we wish we didnt have to pack up everyone morning and to change rooms. Also a let down was when I went to see if they had any rooms left for the next night as we decided to stay in the area as a storm was coming in. They had one room left at $260 I asked if they had a discount for staying 3 nights unfortunately they did not. I decided to just go for it then to lug all our stuff to another Inn.... plus we were enjoying our stay. We got the Jackson room and it was probably the less glamorous out of all the room we had stayed in with a higher price tag unfortunately. It was a bit on the small side, and the description said king size bed, but it was two twin beds pushed together which was very uncomfortable with the gap in the middle of the bed. On a positive note the breakfast included every day was beyond expectation, and the dining area very nice and warm with the fireplace and view of the presidential range. Beside our last night stay being disappointing everything was perfect and everyone was very accommodating from front desk to the restaurant! We will definitively come back to the Inn and we highly recommend it.
