  Great breakfast, good bed, but full of too much old stuff in every room.

  We stayed one night. The outside needs a lot of work on weeds and maintenance. Everything worked but the rooms are filled with a museum of old stuff. The breakfast was great and the innkeeper made extra effort as we needed to get to the ferry. This is an old place.

  Anniversary weekend

  We arrived to the B and B super excited to celebrate our anniversary after reading all the great reviews and viewing the pictures, only to arrive and for it to not meet our expectations. The inn keeper was not there when we arrived, we walked in to the Bed and Breakfast only to smell grease and heavy marijuana smell. We walked through the inn and flys were swarming the bread and Oreos she had left out, the furniture which is old and unique is definitely in need of a good cleaning and refreshing. We walked to our room only to find that it is small, creaky and out to date. Nothing is updated which was fine for the most part. But the smell was horrendous. We decided immediately we could not stay we called the lady in charge and she said she would call us in 20 minutes and here hours later still no phone call back, only a email saying we were still responsible cost, which is fine I dont care, but definitely not worth the price if your looking for a great clean place. The communication was poor. The smell of marijuana was horrendous and at least a explanation or some sort should be explained for the loss we took but she did not give us a option

  A quick overnight stay before heading out on the SS Badger

  While traveling back from the U.P., we decided to take the SS Badger across Lake Michigan to Wisconsin. We needed a place to stay overnight to catch the ship in the morning. The Inn at Ludington was exactly what we needed. The rates were reasonable, check in and check out was quick and easy, the room we had was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent!

  Cheerful Staff, Perfect Location, Outside Seating but ok breakfast

  As a bed and "breakfast," I expect a hot breakfast, not a continental breakfast. We were told things had to be individually wrapped due to covid, etc. I don't think a bed and breakfast would fall under those restrictions. It's no different than a restaurant. We chose this place b/c of its rave reviews of breakfast to be highly disappointing. 1 glass of Milk, 1 glass of OJ, 2 Yogurts, 2 DINNER rolls, 2 wine glasses full of watermelon and blueberries is not sufficient. My friend and I consider that a diet breakfast. Where's the meat!? The first day, we did have some hot eggs which was nice! Day 2, no. A suggestion would be to offer 4 different breakfast meals that is due to the kitchen the night before. selections like: #1 2 eggs, bacon, toast #2 Pancake stack with fruit #3 Low Calorie option with yogurt, fruit and oatmeal #3 Belgian Waffle and sausage #4 Breakfast casserole and meat selection...something like that would have been amazing! we had to go out for breakfast both days after our breakfast snack.

  Lovely

  Aug. 31st. I stayed in the attic room with some friends. We enjoyed our stay, beautiful lodging and grounds. Very comfortable bedding, everything was clean, unique shower was nice. Hot breakfast brought to our room, perfect eggs with all the trimmings. The only thing that could have made my stay better would have been a bird feeder in the beautiful garden, where I enjoyed my coffee.
