Totalmente recomendable. Sin duda volveremos.

Excellent bar serviceThe highlight of this trip is undoubtedly the excellent and most friendly service extended to us by Daniel. He is chief mixologist and connoisseur of all manner of drinks. Warm and friendly and a true credit to the hotel. Lo más destacado de este viaje es, sin duda, el excelente y amable servicio que nos ofrece Daniel. Es el principal mixólogo y conocedor de todo tipo de bebidas. Cálido y amable y un verdadero crédito para el hotel.

Lovely Hotel... but food and service - POOR!Had a one night stay between Christmas and New Year 2020. Hotel itself was very pleasantly decorated in a festive manner. Unfortunately, the service and food was not up to the same scratch. We paid for dinner B&B and once we sat down, we waited over 15 minutes for someone to come and take our drink and food order. Once finished the starter, it took approximately another 30 minutes for them to clear the starters. The main meal did come promptly however my meal (pheasant) was massively overcooked and was dry and in edible. My partners pie however was tasty (so Im told). Breakfast, the full English and avocado and poached eggs on toast were pleasant. I informed the duty manager the following morning for some constructive feedback and I was met with a throwaway excuse that due to Covid and not having the staff, that was the reason. The hotel was supposedly busy (however it did not look so) - as they knew they were busy, they could have accommodated by bringing more stuff in to cover the busy period. In short, picturesque hotel in Grassmere however eat out! Deluxe king-size room was very compact.

CUSTOMER IS THE ENEMYHotel in a lovely location and nicely decorated for the festive season. The only 2 positive comments we could make for this terribly managed hotel. Food and service was very poor, dirty tables cutlery not cleared away. Service was slow and the staff are rude. Food is appalling especially the breakfast how a chief could serve something so bad is astonishing. Not one member of staff made eye contact not one single good morning in a 3 night stay. Room was in poor repair despite being a suite and costing £200 per night. Shower very old and very little water pressure, toilet did not flush properly. Heating not working one minute 40 degrees the next freezing. Hair dryer broken. Condiments scarce. Lift broken how customers with disabilities managed is a mystery. All in all not a great experience. Would not recommend

Avoid this placeNo customer service skills here what so ever, totally judgemental, extremely rude, tiered staff!! Social distancing, is not applied, possibly due to the smallnes of the place. Or even the Grandiose of the staff... Lol! Joke the lot of them. Keep Cumbria for Cumbrians.... Go home
